IT'S STRAWBERRY SEASON! Haven't gone out picking in years so grabbed the chance to do so today! If they're your fruit of choice also, you're reading this just in time. I think they'll be prime ripe over the next few days. Go grab yourself some! It's not so cheap as it was years ago (is anything?) - we picked 3 of their baskets for about $55. But you can be much more selective than going through those half-green quarts from Florida in your grocery store. We look forward to good, healthy eating and some shortcake and freezer jam. While you're there try the strawberry slush - the most strawberry thing you'll ever tase, for about $6. They also have a big selection of preserves, jams, etc read more
