I tried to work with Ethyl Harmon DO, who was recommended to me by another Physician, and a PCP for…read moreabout 1 year. My first visit with her was encouraging. I had had some health issues and she seemed engaged and curious and wanted to stay on top of my health. A few months go by and I go back for a follow up and suddenly, it's like I have committed some crime- It was a 7 am appointment and I had a to go tea and she chewed me out and blamed my health problems on my coffee consumption. Hello, genetics? I blew it off as it was to early for her, but I left feeling guilty for my coffee consumption even though it was tea... So after spending a good 30 minutes filling Dr. H in on my health history and all my meds I was bringing with me from out of state/other doctors, she still WILL NOT refill my scrips with the pharmacy, leaving me going cold turkey off meds I have taken for 3 years. Multiple lengthy calls to her office were need to resolve that... A month or so goes by and I get notified from WALGREENS that a med Dr. H put me on was RECALLED and was not being produced in the US anymore due to contamination with carcinogens. I called her and she had no idea about this and begrudgingly put me on a sister med. Walgreens called back and informed me that that med too had been recalled due to carcinogenic content. Her lack of awareness of what she was prescribing me concerned me enough to find a new doc. The nurses/aids/intake people at ST JOHN's Clinic were also problematic- not real nice, helpful, competent, didn't like people or their job...you get it. It was a real shame.
