As I get older, I have started outsourcing things that I used to tackle myself 20 or 30 years ago. Case in point, got a new Toto toilet with bidet seat and wanted to have it installed after the removal of an existing toilet. I reached out to a handful of local plumbers via contact forms on websites. Only one responded. Attention contractors- if you have websites and contact forms someone ought to monitor those inquiries! I live in the Northern Kentucky Area. Jolly Plumbing has been good to me in the past with water line issues. My son called me today and said he needed a plumber to replace their hot water heater that was leaking. Right away I told him to call Jolly Plumbing. They showed up in a few hours, but quoted him a price of $3700 only if he subscribed to their monthly inspection service? The water heater costs $700. Guess they think they get $3000 an hour now for labor? So Disappointing. They used to be the service you could trust. I work at a major factory in the area that have used them in the past. That won't be happening anymore. In these tough times, they want to take advantage. So sad such a good company has turned to this type of business practice of gouging the consumer. Jolly Plumbing responded right away to our leaking washing machine. They found that a clean out drain had never been installed when our house was built and it's code to have one. They installed it and cleaned out all of our plumbing plus the washer hoses. However, the washer still leaked so they came back and found the problem. The seal on our 2 year old washer was leaking so a little water ran down the door with every load. It was nearly impossible to see. I have a warranty so it will be fixed. No charge for the second visit. Very nice people, professional and friendly--will call again! read more

Do not get me wrong, the work is excellent but they will stalk you when it comes to payment even if they are supposed to wait and know to wait for insurance carrier to send them the money. They have gone so far as to sit outside my home and blow up my phone with calls and texts. Very unprofessional. read more

After the great Texas freeze of 2021 they were the first to respond and install our new external water heater. We did not get the same water heater as before (Rheem) due to supply issues. It's an AO Smith and we notice the difference but not in a positive way. Still, we are happy we got service so fast and professionally. Price was fair as well. read more

I am a business owner in Grapevine, and I have used Jolly plumbing several times in the past and Chester and his team are excellent. Recently I had a situation with one of my customers where we accidentally hit a gas line in an old house where a pipe was where it shouldn't have been. Not only that, but once we uncovered the hidden problem, none of it was up to code. It was after hours and no one was answering the phone. Jolly plumbing did. Absolutely love Jolly Plumbing! We had a backup that resulted in us needing a plumber ASAP. We love using local businesses (not those subcontracting GIANTS), so my wife called Jolly Plumbing located here in Keller. Chester and his team were punctual and professional. Let's talk prices... Before starting work, Chester explained exactly what needed to be done, what the options were, and how much it would cost. Jolly Plumbing was able to find our issue (two sections of our sewer pipe where a tree had roots breaking through). He marked the spot and said one of them would need to be fixed by the city. Unfortunately the other one was in my yard. He quoted me a price for the work and a dressed the other issues (reseating a toilet). After they left, the Water Services guy from the City of Keller came out to mark their locations and inquired about the 'other spot'. When I told him the quote I received from Jolly Plumbing he seemed really surprised and said it was a great price! For this visit, they cleared the backup in the front yard, scoped the pipes using their AWESOME CAMERA (showed me the issues in HD), replaced, resealed, and reseated the toilet, all for less than $400. They even waited around to be there when the City came to inspect the issue. Overall I'm incredibly satisfied with Jolly Plumbing. I cannot say enough about Jolly Plumbing. Chester, Hunter, Erin and the rest of the staff are top notch. After having two consecutive plumbers no-show me during major plumbing back up attempting to destroy my downstairs, Chester Jolly came to the rescue. I spoke with him at 6:15 on Monday evening (Feb. 19) and by 6:40 he was at my home and began working. He brought in Hunter later to help him in the rain, as well. They diagnosed the problem under my house and in our downstairs restroom. While it has not been the easiest thing to have fixed, thanks to weather - it has rained everyday since this happened - Jolly Plumbing has been amazing. I will never use another plumber while living in this area. He talked my 80 year old mom into an expensive piece of gear that was improperly installed and didn't work, then we found out he had been moonlighting after the initial visit. The Jolly Plumbing front office manager, Erin, took our call late in the evening and she sent out Chester, the owner, to help us with a broken irrigation line. Arriving within an hour, Chester fixed our busted line restoring water to the home by midnight or so. Before leaving, he scheduled on the spot to come out by the end of the weekend to perform a complete replacement. The one installed was not done proper by the previous owner and it was the second time it had broken. The price could not be beat and Chester an Erin's response time and follow through with our questions and concerns had been stellar. Had a leak in my yard, called Mr. Rooter. They wanted to replace the entire main water line from the street to my house at a cost of $25k!!!! I dug up the leaky coupling myself and called Jolly for a second opinion. They came out quickly and replaced the leaking coupling for $150. They laughed hysterically at the quote from Mr. Rooter because even if they had to replace the water main they would have done it for $3500 no were near the ridiculous quote of $25 thousand dollars from Mr. Rooter. If I could zero stars I would. I called them at 8 PM on Sunday night because we had raw sewage backing up into our master bath tub and shower and they advertise "emergency plumbing 24 hours". Of course now one was available until the next morning they said, so we scheduled for 8:15. At 9 AM, they were still not here. When I called both numbers listed for them it went to voicemail and said the "mailbox was full and could not accept any messages." I began texting them and got no response. At 9:30 I finally got a response that said "Johnnie is in wrout." At 10:30 no one is here and they have stopped responding to my texts for an ETA. I really do not know how anyone conducts a successful business by treating their customers like this. I realize things happen and they run late, but a simple call or text letting me now they are running behind and will be 2 or 3 hours late is a basic common courtesy they should give their customers. I have now gotten a hold of Baker Brothers and they are coming out this afternoon at 2. I would not recommend this company to anyone! read more

I called another company and they wanted $$$$ 3600 to cut out my foundation, they also said my new wood floors would need repair from their demo to get to the p trap and cut is out and replace. Then they charged me $$ 150 just to look at it. This company left everything the way the tore it apart to look the issue and left when I refused to finance through their company to have this work done that day. I called Jolly Plumbing and he offered me options to correct the issue without tearing up my floors and foundation. Chester Jolly came out for the bid and the work. I was impressed with the clean up and the job they did. He and Hunter worked it quickly and had my air back up running and draining properly. Even better!!! Chester saved me 3000 plus what the other company bid. I will use him for every thing I need. I can say I know a good plumber now. Very happy with this company and their service team. read more

Called last week for their services, never heard from them so we called and cancelled - going to work on it ourselves. Next thing we know, the guy is at our front door. Now this week, another issue, so we tried again. This time he showed up. I wish he wouldn't have. 1 hour service for $475.00!!!! All that was done was removing a rusted on seal ring. HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! He laughed when my husband mentioned "being bent over". Not only am I going to report him to the BBB, but am talking with my employer, a Lawyer, on further action. Jolly Plumbing came out to my house because my water heater was out. They arrived in the late afternoon and were not able to replace the water heater that same night. They told me that they had everything that they would need at their headquarters to replace it and set an appointment for the following afternoon to come out. After they left I was able to find another business to come out and they were able to replace my water heater that evening. I called Jolly Plumbing first thing in the morning to tell them that I had found someone else to do it sooner and for less money. The owner, Chester Jolly, became very upset with me claiming that he had already ordered parts...completely contrary to what his employees had told me the afternoon before. The owner then went on to file a grievance against me with the State Board of Plumbing Examiners in which he claimed that we had a contract, which we did not.
