The pies especially the ube one was good and I preferred that one over the peach flavored. The service here though is very slow. I phoned my order in a ahead of time and we still had to wait plus you need to make sure you get the mashed potatoes and ask for the extra gravy. The food here is excellent, specially the fried chicken and mashed potatoes are extremely delicious. I don't get too inventive, it's just spicy chicken and a few side orders that are tasty. The only sad part about this place is you have to walk into a store to get to it, it's not it's own location. Most of my friends completely miss this place, but it's fine how it is. I had very high expectations of Jollibee, believe it or not, from all of the hype from social media. My family and I came down sick for thanksgiving this year, and was so excited to order from Jollibee for the first time. We ordered the family meal, which is supposed to come with 10 pieces of chicken, with complementary gravy for dipping and 3 large sides. We ordered fries, mashed potato's and adobo rice for the sides, as well as party size palabok noodle plate, and pie. When we received the order, they did not give us gravy but instead mixed it into our mashed potato. Our 3 large sides looked more like small (picture provided), and our palabok did not look "party sized" As for the food: Chicken: great! We loved the fried chicken Fries: great, but cold. Could have been delivery timing Mashed potato's: very good, just way smaller than I imagined Adobo rice: it was ok. Again, felt smaller than a large. Palabok: was a bit bland. Mango pie: SO good, will not lie. They also gave us this other side we did not order, not sure if they were trying to compensate for the gravy. It felt like bread crumbs lol. Overall, glad we got to try. One thing I'm thankful is that they had delivery option for Thanksgiving. What I was surprised was the portion of their large sides, and party trays. My sister and I tried it the other day, and I have to say it was a very mediocre experience. We went at a busy time, and everyone was working hard. For the food itself, I got the 2-piece meal with their spaghetti, pineapple drink, and pineapple dessert. They're all fine; 3-stars. My sister got their spicy chicken sandwich, which we were both excited to try. She said it tasted and felt very off. Her side of mashed potatoes and gravy were pretty tasty though! Mostly everything else is great (interior, service, other menu items, etc.) but something about the spicy chicken at this location... it has caused stomach problems going out both the top entrance and the bottom entrance, if you know what I mean. This has happened multiple times with weeks or months in between, so it wasn't just a one-time thing. I would be ok with the regular chicken-- just the spicy gave me problems. I tested this hypothesis with another location. I thought maybe I am just sensitive with the spicy recipe in general? Worst Customer Service! I came here on Father's Day, and I know my husband loves this place But after what u experienced, I will definitely not come back . Delicious fried chicken - crispy on the outside & juicy on the inside! I like getting the spicy ones - perfect for dipping in their delicious gravy. I usually get the bundle with the spaghetti & 3 pies - it lasts us a couple meals because the spaghetti portion is huge. The pies are perfectly crispy (fried maybe?) on the outside with sweet fruit on the inside. Parking is abundant and it's easy to order online but there is always a 15-20 min wait whether I order in person/online. It's clearly popular & worth the wait though! read more

This was my first time trying Jollibee and I was left feeling "eh". I ordered a family bundle (10 pieces of fried chicken; 3 sides: 2 mashed potatoes and fries), 1 mango peach pie, 1 ube pie, and a halo halo. Fried Chicken: Delicious! Even after my 20 minute commute home, my chicken was still very crispy. The chicken was really moist too, which is usually not the case at other fried chicken places. Loved it! It doesn't feel leaps above KFC or Raising Canes, but Jollibee's fried chicken is definitely notable (and yummy). I wouldn't drive out of my way JUST for Jollibee's but if I was in the area, I'd order. Mashed Potatoes: This tasted just like any standard mashed potatoes. No complaints or praise here. Fries: Nothing special about the fries here, either. Just tasted like your typical fries you can get at any fast food place. Halo Halo: I was really excited for this because I'm a big fan of halo halo. Unfortunately, I felt like most of the dessert was shaved ice and this shaved ice was very mildly flavored. It was topped with a very small dollop of ube ice cream, caramel flan, and another flavored ice cream (yellow). Underneath the shaved ice was some jellies (red and green) and kidney/garbanzo beans. This was all in a mixture of coconut milk and sweet condensed milk, so it was a mild flavor. I'm not sure if I had a bad item where 90% of it was shaved ice and I had barely any jellies. Outside of the shaved ice, I liked the halo halo; I was left wanting more of the non-shaved ice :) Mango Peach Pie: I liked this!!! Such a unique flavor that I haven't seen anywhere else. I was expecting chunks of fruit but it's actually a smooth, thick paste. A bit sweet but counter-balanced with the crispy exterior of the pie. Yum. Ube Pie: This was similar to the mango pie. It had a crispy, flaky exterior (best eaten fresh!) and the contents were a sweet ube jam. I preferred the mango peach pie over this. CONCLUSION: - Get the fried chicken (obvi) - Skip the stuff you can get elsewhere (mashed potatoes, fries) in favor of Jollibee's more Filipino dishes - Mango Peach Pie is a must-try! Just want to preface this review, as the low rating is for the order accuracy, NOT the taste of the food or food quality. I love love Jolliebee! It's my favorite fried chicken joint. I would choose it anyday over KFC or Popeyes or any of the deli fried chicken at the grocery store. Jolliebee has such a unique taste & I also love the adobo rice as a side. My go to has always been the spicy chicken. It's such a shame there isn't more locations in OC. This particular location in Irvine, seems to always have a line plus it closes early at 8 which just sucks if you're trying to order food for dinner later. Also because it's in Seafood city, there's no drive thru. I have been here multiple times & the most frustrating thing about coming here is that this location seems to always be out of spicy chicken. I remember once it took about a month for it to return which is just crazy. You would think with it being the more popular flavor, it would be plentiful. It's not. If you arrive maybe an hour before closing, don't expect any spicy chicken to be left, good chance it will be out. My other complaint is whenever I do order spicy, there has been multiple times I get the non spicy version instead. I appreciate how fast the order comes out but if it's wrong, then it defeats the purpose of fast food. I'm not sure if there's a language barrier or the orders aren't being checked when prepared. The food quality is undeniably good. It's a 5/5 on food for sure as many other Youtubers would probably say the same if you take the food to go. However, dining in and interacting with the staff is where we start to lose stars unfortunately. The last time we went they forgot part of our order and while they remedied it, because it was made-to-order, it took some time out of enjoying our meal we already did have that we didn't want to get cold. The staff all seem like they just can't wait for the day/shift to end either. I get it, I worked at places where you're counting down the hours too, but at least try to pretend that you kind of care(?). A smile and customer service could go a lot further here. Being inside a Seafood City is great since you can get other things while your food is being prepared, since it will take a while for your food to come out, so that may also be a negative depending on if you just want Jollibee or are running errands as well. The parking lot is pretty good size as it shares it with other businesses like a Staples next door. If you're looking for amazing chicken, you need to have this one but just don't expect the friendliest of staff and the wait to be a little long, but man is it worth it when you have that first bite as it is literally chicken joy in your mouth. read more

After grocery shopping, I just couldn't resist that smell coming out from this place. Been here several times and they don't disappoint. The place is clean and well maintained. The employees are always accommodating and friendly. They always give out that Filipino hospitality vibes. And as always, the food is superb. The chicken is crispy and juicy. My other fave is the spaghetti. It is not like the typical italian spaghetti but is a filipino style spaghetti which is sweet. This may taste weird or different for others. If it's your first time I'd recommend trying the chicken with rice or the palabok (pasta with pork base sauce)- this is their savory pasta. During this pandemic, I prefer to order online whenever possible. Right now you can only order Jollibee (at least in OC) online via Doordash. I've realized there are some items not available via Doordash eg Jolly Hot Dog, Haro Haro, the seasonal Ube Pie grrrrr. Oh wells, the pickup experience was fast and efficient. Service was with a smile so I can't complain! The good: 1. Gravy. Lots of gravy! I think the gravy with the fried chicken is goood! Not too thick or watery with enough taste. I can to try the classic chicken 2 piece with 1 side, drink and pie. The chicken was crispy and mash potatoes were definitely worth the drive up.
