Just had Fairfield's Jolibee for the first time today and overall pretty good. But there was a couple of spicy chicken pieces where my chickens batter was still raw and I tasted the thick batter paste from it not being cooked completely but the chicken tasted fine. read more

The food here was decent at best, really nothing special. We had strips and shared a sandwich. The sandwich was hot and juicy but not memorable. The strips were no better than something from a supermarket and almost appeared to be a little freezer burned? The fries were ok, kind of reminiscent of McDs but not as salty. Sadly the worst part of the visit was the restaurant itself. The cashier was polite but the tables were sticky, the serving counter was greasy and gritty and the floors were disgusting. Their Fiesta Palabok doesn't have chicharon and shrimps for their topping. There are only 6 slices of boiled egg and mine got the end part, so there's no yolk. Made an online order. Said it'll be ready 15 minutes. Cool. Takes me 15 minutes to get there anyways. Got there and staff said it'll be 5 minutes. 5 minutes pass- still not ready. Waited an additional 10 minutes. When I got the chicken, it was hot and fresh. Tasted great. But if you plan on ordering ahead, place your order 30 minutes ahead so you won't have to wait. We drove from Rio Vista to try the Jollibee in Fairfield. Food is always good. Chicken and rice is the bomb!! Ambiance is fast food, AC was great! She points at the menu behind her, didn't turn her head just pointed, and my husband said "mashed.. and before he can say potato, she said "would you like a drink with that?" and im almost annoyed how rude this is all sounding. Waited so long for this location to open and finally it did!!! We came today around 6p and it was packed the line was long but it was moving fast! We waited no longer than 10min for our order! Anyway, the taste is somewhat slight different from concord and Vallejo, although the chicken are huge, the gravy is tasty and not too salty like Other locations I've been to! My 3pcs chicken came with a biscuit! The rice serving is huge also! Good for two for me! Customer service was fast and organized and all staff were nice and greeted us with the Filipino phrase " have a jolliday! " Now that brings me back in Philippines. I have never heard other jollibee location say that phrase ever here in Bay Area!!! They have pagers for every customer/order! Which makes the service fast and organized! Well done Travis location! Kept waiting and kept waiting...complained about how long it was taking over an hour later and come to learn that they'd gone through FIVE batches of cooking chicken...and had kept pushing our order off because everytime they got to our order, they were 1-2 pieces short. And so it got pushed off yet again...despite us WAITING THERE FOR OVER AN HOUR! We finally said 'just give us the order short the chicken, we can't deal with continuing to wait and watching people keep coming through getting their food and us left twiddling our thumbs. So an hour and 20 minutes after making the order, we finally have food...not all of it, of course. What kind of logic is there to keep putting orders that came in after ours to be filled BEFORE ours when we're standing there waiting? Short two tenders and 1 piece of chicken. Our first visit was on opening weekend and it was okay. They were out of spicy chicken which was disappointing so we got the regular chicken. It was good. Nothing special. Their gravy was pretty damn good so we decided we'd definitely go again to try their spicy chicken. Today was that day. We went in and order 2 10 piece buckets of chicken. 1 spicy and 1 regular. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait for the spicy chicken, which we were okay with. After a 30 minute wait (we gave them extra time since they were so busy) we went in to check the status of our order and they told us it would be another 12 minutes. No apology was given for the wait at this point we just ask for a refund. We did not want to wait another 12 minutes and still risk the possibility of it still not getting done. Especially since the first estimate they gave us was way off. No fast food chicken is worth a 42 minute wait. Our refund was given but once again not apology for our time wasted.
