Having two kids that have completed their orthodontic treatment at Jolley Smiles, and now having my third begin his treatments I can tell you that this place is awesome. They are efficient and friendly and very competent. I can tell that both Drs care about what they are doing and the treatment plan they have designed for my kids. I feel like they train their staff well so that they are reassuring to my nervous kids and able to help administer the plan without much ado. My visits are always prompt, on time and efficient. I have never had to wait to see the Dr.. They run an amazing practice here. read more

They suck at doing what they do they made me come from Glenwood to Grand Junction just so say can put one spacer and they now want me to go again for another spacer on the day before my next appointment which is a waste of gas and this is why I giving them a 1 star read more

Established in 2006.

Tyler H. Jolley, D.M.D., is a certified orthodontist and periodontist who resides in Grand Junction with his family. Dr. Jolley graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2002. He then completed a four year orthodontic/periodontic residency at the University of Pennsylvania in June 2006. He opened Jolley Smiles after graduation with offices in Grand Junction and Fruita, Colorado. He also treats patients in Vernal, UT and Montorse, CO.

Zachary P. Pitcher, D.M.D., M.D.S. is a certified orthodontist who resides in Fruita with his family. Dr. Pitcher attended the University of Pittsburgh for dental school, graduating in 2005. He then completed a three-year orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Pitcher is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. Dr. Pitcher enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He and his wife, Melanie, have three beautiful daughters. While in Memphis, Dr. Pitcher learned, among other things, the finer art of barbecuing. He also enjoys mountain biking, skiing and many other outdoor activities.

The first appointment went fine, but ever since has been a mess. A few days before my second appointment, less than a week later, the office started texting me that "someone else is interested in your appointment, so you must confirm or we'll give it away." I had already scheduled that visit in person with the hygienist and made clear I desperately needed it, yet they treated my spot like it was negotiable. That's not patient care--that's games. I ended up cancelling, because I have lost trust in this company completely. The billing was no better. At my first visit, I was suddenly told the insurance they had confirmed as accepted was now "lapsed" and they couldn't bill it. There was even a handwritten note about this issue that followed me through the entire process that day--never corrected, never explained. I only went through with treatment because I was in extreme pain and couldn't wait, but the handling of it was unprofessional and sloppy. It feels like this office does not value patients, even ones who will spend thousands annually on periodontal care and remain consistent, long-term clients. I'm not sure what a patient has to do to secure an appointment and have it honored, but this seems to be an industry-wide problem at this point. Bottom line: I should not have to fight to keep an appointment I scheduled or be treated like my care is optional. I also shouldn't have to wonder whether the office can actually bill the insurance they say they accept. I'm still searching for a dentist in town who can simply schedule, honor the appointment, and provide consistent care. It should not be this hard to get a cleaning.

I called again today and was told the release forms are on the website and they are NOT on the website, I got hung up on during a call to cancel and get the right paperwork. Don't go here if you have insurance and want it billed to insurance, they will drop the ball.

I went to Jolley Smiles for TMJ/TMD and to fix some mild crowding on my lower anterior teeth caused from not wearing my retainer. I was having daily headaches and jaw pain/popping. I went through the year long program and my TMJ is better than it's ever been. I am so pleased with the results. My lower teeth are straight again and my jaw is no longer an issue. The staff was absolutely wonderful to work with. Scheduling was easy, they worked with my insurance and set up a payment plan for the balance that insurance didn't cover. Getting braces for my daughter at Jolley Smiles was easier than I ever expected. She felt comfortable with the entire process and the customer service was excellent. The variety of locations that Jolley Smiles has made it much easier for us to make scheduled appointments as my daughter essentially lives in two different counties. We only had one scheduling mix up and I received a gift card an a letter of apology immediately in the mail. I went into Jolly Smiles and my teeth were terrible, I was so uncomfortable with my smile. I never had the teeth I wanted until I went to Jolly Smiles. After i did my life was changed, they made my teeth look perfect. After I got my braces off I couldn't keep the smile off my face. As a parent of a child with a pretty bad cross-bite, I have to say, I am pleased so far with the results from Jolley Smiles. I've never had a bad experience, the staff is always so friendly and laid back, but willing to help whenever there's an issue. I would recommend Jolley Smiles to anyone! After my son's lengthy hospital stay following a car accident, Dr. Jolley did a gum graft at no charge, because our medical expenses were already through the roof.
