They are amazing with children, teach them in a way that they are, not only prepared for kindergarten, but still hold onto that creativity that a lot of other programs are unable to hold onto with children. They are very family oriented and have a long history of putting the needs of the child first, even if the parents aren't ready to hear it. I am one of those parents. We knew our son was different, but the teachers helped us figure out that he had sever ADHD and is on the autism spectrum. They did this with love and respect, walking the boundaries of being respectful of parent wishes and pushing for what was best for our child. The center not only has made an impact with me, I have worked in the field almost 30 years and 10 of those are here at CCYC, but also with my family as my oldest son put his daughter on our waitlist the moment they found out they were pregnant. Not only do I recommend CCYC to other child care professionals looking for somewhere to make a career at, but for any family that is looking for a center that is here for their children's growth and development into young caring learners.

I had to get certified and I was looking for an office that would work with my schedule…read more I searched around and this office came up. I called the office and the lady (Kiki) was very pleasant. She was willing to work with my availability which is a big plus because I have a busy schedule. The class was straight forward and we went over first aid, watched videos, went over questions and she took the time to answer all my questions. After, we went over CPR and it was nice to see the mannequin that connects to a smart device and tells you if you are doing it correctly or not. I will be honest, I wanted to cut the face off like Dwight in Office. I restrained myself! ! All in all, she is great and you can tell that she has a lot of experience. I highly encourage anyone to attend this office if you need/want to get certified. You won't be disappointed!

The best part of taking the classes at 411 is the trainer, Kiki! She helps make the almost 3 hours (for each class) go by rather quickly and has some hilarious stories about personal experiences that keep it fun! They have all kinds of things you may need for your home/car/etc that can help prevent accidents from happening and then give you the training you need in case they do! Highly recommend checking it out if you're interested in safety classes or information!

The student to teacher ratio was perfect and allowed for considerable interaction and personal education development. They also had students from Iowa Wild, which was great to be able to support them and cheer them on. We were sad to learn of the recent years' financial troubles and now they've had to wind down. It's unlikely the school will re-open for education at this point, but it was nice to be a part of.
