Savvy Home Supply recently completed a kitchen and bathroom remodel project in my old Victorian in…read morethe Highlands, and I am thrilled with the results. Savvy's owner, Jon, worked diligently to incorporate the appliances, cabinetry, finishes and lighting fixtures selected by my wife into our budget. Because of the age of the house, extensive leveling was required to turn the "skateboard park" floor into a more usable surface. The Savvy crew worked cleanly and professionally to turn a worn out kitchen with an attached large bathroom into a bright, white modern kitchen with a walk-in pantry and a hidden powder room. I highly recommend Savvy Home Supply. The process was easy and the Savvy people were very professional, from setting the price, developing the layout and design, installing our new rooms from the bare studs, right up to final turnover. My wife cannot believe how Savvy managed to meet her expectations, on-time and under budget.

Jon drew up the estimate and plan, helped me pick out materials that would go well together, and his team made it a quick install and cleaned up everyday when they were done. They also communicated very well and kept me in the loop on when they would be out for the install and got the job done in the timeline they gave me. I would highly recommend them for any kitchen remodel you are thinking about having done.

I'm writing this review almost 4 years after our kitchen installation. This is our first home and…read morefirst kitchen renovation. We chose Chris's as a recommendation from a contractor who has worked with many of our family members on home renovations and repairs. Also we love to support local businesses. The kitchen was installed March '15 but we did not move into our home until June '15. I gave 2 stars because the cabinets are very pretty and turned out exactly how I wanted them to look. They are simple white shaker style. We have a 12x12 kitchen and had only upper/ lower cabinets and a refrigerator box installed. No trims or island or anything fancy. We spent over $14,000 on just the cabinets. We also used them to order our Ceasarstone counter tops. I went in to Chris's with a picture that I had drawn of exactly what I wanted my kitchen to look like. I just needed someone to make it happen. While the experience with the representative/designer was just ok I was willing to look past that for a beautiful custom kitchen. Once it was installed we were given one chance to let them know if anything wasn't up to par or needed fixing. Our representative very adamantly told us there would be a $150 charge after that if we saw anything else of concern. We had them fix one drawer that didn't roll right and that was it. We really weren't sure what to look for and trusted that they did their best job. Once we moved in however, we began to notice that the construction wasn't up to par. Not to mention that I was very specific when ordering the countertop and requested sharp corners not rounded. Request not granted. Because of the hassle of ripping up and reinstalling the counter (which is what I should have insisted happen) I let it go. The point is that I don't feel like I was listened to by the representative. Almost immediately upon moving in, the rubber dots on the drawers and doors started to fall off. They were yellow and discolored to begin with. Like they were old. We've lost and replaced about 90% of them. We even found some in our toddlers mouth that we didn't notice had fallen off! We also noticed that our garbage drawer was off and sort of shimmed when constructed. Whatever screws they used to install the handles are not flush and the paint is chipping wherever a screw touches the wood. Lastly we already have paint chipping and cracking in some places. Maybe that's normal wear and tear but I don't believe we should have to repaint our cabinets after 3 years. We thought about writing a letter to the company or calling our sales representative but didn't think we would be heard. We are upset about the quality and construction of our cabinets but we learned a lesson. We could have saved a lot of money by going to a big box store. We are local business supporters but for our next kitchen we will take our business elsewhere. I've included pictures of the poor construction. They might seem like small things but to us the small things matter.

So disappointed. I needed to know if I could buy replacement hinges or find out where I could get…read morethem. Left 3 messages and no one has had the courtesy to return my calls. I will never recommend this company again.
