For the remaining 4 she set me up with partial dentures as well. But how she was able to completely transform all but 4 of the teeth Id been told by prior dentists were irreparable, is something between a miracle of sorts and pure serendipitous good fortune, for a change. The aching, breaking, stained teeth and unsightly mouth I owned just a month or two ago is now shiny white and almost new and the change was quick and incredible. I literally have been agoraphobic and mostly unable to work due to a combination of pain and shame concerning my teeth, and Dr. Specht and her hygienist have reinvigorated my confidence and my smile and my future will be brighter for the amazing work they've done for me. Only Miskovich responded positively and I was treated the next day. Dr. Kuehn identified the problem and relieved the pain. I then met Dr. Peter for a root canal. Both dentists and their assistants were attentive and gentle. I was never left in a room alone which is unusual in my experience. Jackie at the front desk was so helpful in scheduling and, surprise, the day after my treatment, Dr. Peter called to see how I was doing. That's exemplary customer service! This review is about the ER and not getting into all the gory details. Upon entering the ER (thank goodness it was not busy) I was impressed at how pleasant and caring the admitting nurse was. Taking my information and insurance all the time showing care and compassion. It wasn't but a few minutes before I was in a room with a couple more nurses taking more info and accessing the problem. They were wonderful. Soon after that I was seen by the ER doctor and told we'll get you fixed up and back on the lake fishing in no time. He had his intern come in and together they decided what needed to be done. She was fantastic. (I'm so mad I didn't get her name) Telling me what was going to happen every step of the way. The most painful part was the Lidocaine shots. Ouch! While I didn't scream, she did say you can hear most patients yelling all the way in the waiting room! So while she was sewing up my arm my buddies told her I was a professional fisherman (not true lol) and that I wanted the stitches in the shape of a fish! Lol. We had her in stitches (lol, pun intended). But when she asked how this happened, I told her the guys were trying to knock me outta the fishing competition! (Lol again not true). She had me sewn up, patched up and out the door as good as new. An absolutely wonderful experience for a bad situation. While I hope no one ever needs to go to the Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital ER, know that you will be well taken care of. I couldn't really take a lot of photos due to rules and regulations.
