I can not even begin to tell you how much of my time this place has wasted. First they made me wait…read more4 days to take an appointment to make a copy of my ID!! I had to drive across town to do something that could have easily been done as a drop in or via text/email. She then told me a recruiter would call me, that never happened. I waited a week before I called them again and she said she didn't have anything call me next week. So I call the Sparks office and that guy sends me to the popcorn place the very next day. I do this job for one week, it is not a good match. No one spoke any English and they played extremely loud dueling stereos. It was too much for me. So he tries to send me to the bowling stadium. I go for a job interview which seems so unnecessary for a temp job but whatever. I follow the directions on the interview paper exactly, I wait 45 min before I get upset and start calling people. I'm told to go upstairs and look for this interview person. By now I'm furious my time is mine I'm not getting paid for this run around for a $13/temp job. Here we are several months later and I think let's give it another try. I like temp jobs they let me try out different things while I travel and sometimes I find the perfect long term employment. I call today and this girl takes my name then immediately puts me on hold for 8 minutes!! Are you kidding??? Now it feels personal. I hung up but I'm sure she would have kept me all day. I call the sparks office I ask the girl do you have any assignments. She says not really just some warehouse work on US Parkway and some janitorial stuff. I say great I don't mind I'm looking to start with something for 2 weeks. She immediately says we don't have short term gigs???? WTF is a temp agency then? I told her I would stay longer if they actually did a good job matching me with a job. I don't know how anyone gets a job with this agency. I was treated so horribly, with so much run around. Treated like I'm not the one paying their jobs. I know the agency makes $10/hr off the backs of actual workers. DO YOUR JOB!!! Worst most horrible temp service I have ever dealt with.

I've been working for a company under Manpower for 4 weeks now, and things have been pretty smooth…read moreso far. After the first week of turning in my time card to Manpower, I return every Friday to, one, drop off that current week's time card and pick up my paycheck from the past week. You don't necessarily need to drop off and pick up your timecards/paychecks weekly, but that's just how I do it. I was fortunate enough to have already been hired before hand and did not need to seek employment through Manpower. With that being said, during my very first visit to Manpower, I had to fill out paperwork. They were helpful and provided further instructions of what I had to do next. Their service was friendly and I left with no questions.
