A lot of tank tops, shorts, light sweaters and jewelry. They also have a lot of Van's shoes, canvas and some nikes. I have tried myself to wear clothes from here but they're on the junior sizing. They are either super expensive, or having a great sale so it's hit or miss. I find the staff to be average, a lot of young kids, working their first jobs probably, so getting rung up or other sizes isn't super fast, but just more time to look around. However, I have ordered online twice to pick up at the store, and both times have been absolutely infuriating. This most recent time, I called the store to confirm their hours before coming to get the FULLY PAID FOR order, only to be told they cancelled the order and were sending it back. This was an anniversary gift for my husband, so I was quite distressed. Fortunately, the clerk went to the back room and caught the order before it left, and I was able to pick it up the next day. He says he tried calling me before prepping it for sending back, but my call log shows NO CALL. Either way, the in-store experience is great. Ask for Becky, she will take excellent care of you. In fact, here as I am at the store writing this I changed my 3 stars to 4 simply because Becky is that outstanding. As for the clothes, great selection and very reasonable prices for sizes that are hard to find elsewhere. Hubby is 6'2" and has a big, sturdy German frame. He can always find clothes here that fit and look wonderful.

My girlfriend spends roughly $800 to $900 at a time buying from their online store. Those items that do not work for her, we return. We do the return at the store. We do it this way for two reasons. 1. So we can see that the credit is done 2. So she can also look to see if they have anything else she may like and/or the same items she is returning more in a size that is suitable for her petite size 0 frame. The employees hate having to do returns and try to encourage you to do them online instead by going back on line and registering your return and getting a QR code. You then take that QR code into the store and do your return. So you are pretty much doing the employees job so they don't have too, and you still have to go into the store for the return anyway. There are always some cranky ladies working here and they try to mask their distain for you and your returns by acting like they are very important because they work here and talk AT you very loudly. My g/f is really rethinking her decision to buy anything from Ann Taylor simply due to how we get treated in store. She said she will stick to Von Maur, where the staff is very helpful and always glad to see you. Ann Taylor needs to pay attention to their customers and get rid of the bad customer service. They are losing sales due to it.

They are also very helpful while shopping. They take the clothes from you immediately and start you a fitting room. While you are in the fitting room, they check back frequently, so that you don't have to go grab different sizes, they do this for you. They always tell me about the newest sales. On a particular occasion, knowing I was in a hurry, the saleswoman opened up another register to ring me through so that I wouldn't be late for my movie. This is great customer service!
