I got to thinking, how dumb where they, I am a retired marine with a military hair cut that takes about 10 min to cut, and they turned me away, now I could see if they were busy but they were obviously not. Lost opportunity for them to gain a customer. Needless to say every time I speak to someone about my barber or where I go, I end up telling the story. The old saying, do something right for a customer they will tell 5 people, do something wrong they will tell 5000!! Food for thought.

The least they could have done is tell me my hair wouldn't permit it, but no, they decided to have an ego and give it a shot anyways, leaving me looking like Simple Jack from tropic thunder. Every single person coming in there today was getting a single style; the only style the owners know apparently, the stereotypical lifted truck driving, overweight 300lb wife beating douchebag. At the wedding today, my parents, her parents and all of our friends looked at me like i was a fucking freak. Thanks to this, I will trust corporations rather than small businesses. This place needs to advertise themselves as "we make everyone who walks in, look like douchebags, because at Mooney's, we base every haircut off of the God damn punisher". I went into another barber (great clips) and they were shocked at what this place did to my hair, in a bad way. Thanks for ruining both my reputation and your own.

My husband showed her a picture of how he wanted his hair and it was just the sides and back of his head he just wanted it faded, he asked her if she could do that and she said yes. My nephew went here for a haircut and tried to clearly explain and show the barber what he wanted…read more The response he got was essentially, "I know what all you kids want these days," and his input was ignored entirely. No consideration was given to his widow's peaks, which already make his hair more challenging to work with. The end result speaks for itself (photos attached). The cut is uneven, not blended properly, and does not suit his face at all. On top of that, whatever product was put in his hair looked like super glue. My sister had to wash his hair three times when they got home just to get it out. The most heartbreaking part is that my nephew--who is a teenager and already dealing with enough--cried for hours afterward, saying his life was ruined because of how bad the haircut was. Teenagers are vulnerable, and this experience made it far worse. I understand not everyone will love every haircut, but this goes beyond preference. This was careless, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Paying nearly $30 for a haircut that looks this bad is unacceptable. After seeing how the owner responds to other reviews, I'm honestly not surprised. The responses are defensive, unprofessional, and blame the customer instead of taking accountability. We are not looking for an apology--we've already seen how those are handled here. We will not be returning, and I strongly encourage others to read the reviews and look at the photos before choosing this sh
