I have been living in Gothenburg for almost two years and I have been on a quest to find someone that does my nails as well as my lady in Philadelphia. It's been a real challenge... until I stumbled upon Mazi. I got a gel manicure before the holidays and it lasted for four weeks without any chipping or peeling whatsoever. I even went rock climbing! The only reason the polish came off is because I got another gel manicure from Jovana this week. On top of her amazing manicure skills, she is so sweet and so fun to chat with. They have a warm and welcoming interior that looks newly designed and polished. Hair Stylist - 5 stars!! I got a haircut from one of their trainees, and as a hardened New Yorker with experience limited to only 15+ years in the business stylists, this haircut was no different. One of the other stylists came and checked up on the appointment every 20 minutes to make sure everything was going as it should. They offered great recommendations on layering and length and also listened to my neurotic specific length requirement for my bangs. I came out of the appointment totally happy. It took about 2 hours in total, but I bet it would be much faster with someone with less hair, I have really long, thick and curly hair. Booking - 5 stars, they have an online booking appointment website which makes it literally 4 clicks from appointment time. If you do not care who cuts/styles your hair they have tiers of stylists, from "anyone" to only master stylists, and I think that will then impact the price of the appointment. I booked for a simple women's haircut, which of course included shampoo/condition, and post-cut styling. Looking on their website they do most everything, from mens/womens haircuts to coloring/styling etc. When I was there there was a man getting a beard/haircut and a women getting highlights. Price - 5 stars! I had to take a double take at the price, it was 350 kroner, and let me tell you I've got a lot of hair, and I've never had a haircut even close to this price in my life, and yet the haircut I got was in line with the haircuts I got from master stylists in the heart of manhattan. If you're in town or live in Gothenburg, it's an obvious choice for a great place to get your hair cut or styled - already booked my next appointment.
