You can also book through their website. My first visit was for energy adjustment of reiki as a treatment for severe leg pain and weakness. My regular doctor suggested it since what their western medicine could not help. I hadn't had any energy work in 3 years. Angela was very patient and understanding. We talked about what I needed and why. She was understanding of my late soulmate who stays close and is very protective. She asked EBS'S permission to work. She could even heard him. The session lasted 55 minutes. I came back a couple weeks later for a deep message therapy for the lower back and legs. This helped my legs more than anything else has. Afterwards she told me to rest and drink lots of water. I plan to come back again for the deep message therapy for the legs. I will be able to set up the appointment on the weekend and thru the website.

Very professional from the ease to setup the appointment on line and only had to pay a $25 deposit to hold the appointment. Alex did a pre session interview taking notes about why I was there and what I hope to get from it. I had read that if your energy was very out, it is better to have 3 sessions of reiki in 6 weeks. I used 3 different therapists for this. After the session, he had a written form of what he found, what he did, and the outcome. Besides the chakras, he also diid a look at the rest of the body. He texted me a picture of the sheet the next day. He was very understanding about the fact my late soulmate is very protective of me and needed to be asked for me to have any hands. Alex could even see EBS. I plan to keep my energy more inline since I have been fighting leg pain and weakness which has improved. I plan to do that quarterly so I do plan to return.

I have gotten Reiki healings as needed for close to 10 years. Last year, I felt in need of a…read morecleanse and I'm so glad to have found Claire at ASHA. She has the gift. As she's working, I can feel energy shifting and I can get into a wonderful relaxed state of just being and not thinking. For someone who lives in their head all the time, it's a delightful feeling. You have the choice to have her say what's she's sensing or not but I love to hear what's she's sensing, as it's so accurate and to me, it helps me change to terms with my feelings or know what to focus on in the coming weeks. The best part is, after every cleanse, I feel lighter and more connected, even after some very heavy work that may bring up an array of emotions: when I leave, I feel like the sun is shining brighter and all my favorite songs are on the radio. And that feeling stays with me for several days to weeks after. The three session pack is a great deal for the amount of healing you get and it's very flexible: you could use these monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, etc depending on your needs. I'm putting Reiki healing with Claire up there with getting massages or seeing a chiropractor: go when you need it but also when you don't to prevent needing it.

It's rare to come across a space that truly honors the human experience--raw, imperfect,…read morebeautiful--and rarer still to find a guide who walks beside you with genuine presence and integrity. That has been my experience working with Donna over the past couple of years through Ascension School of Healing Arts. I didn't come into this work lightly. I was seeking something that would help me make sense of myself, my patterns, my wounds, and my potential. What I found was not just support, but a path: one that challenged me, held me accountable, and helped me remember my own strength. She helps you reclaim parts of yourself you didn't even know were missing. I've witnessed so many moments of transformation--not just in myself, but in others who have walked this path with me. There's no hierarchy in the space she creates. It's collaborative. Empowering. Human. She helps me understand my pain and transform it, understand it, integrate it, and move through it with intention. When I've brought ideas, projects, and personal milestones to her, I've felt celebrated, seen, and heard. She truly has a deep commitment to helping others rise in their own light.

The symptoms were debilitating and specialist after specialist offered nothing but shoulder shrugs and prescriptions that were supposed to manage my symptoms. Instead, the symptoms grew worse and nothing was being done to address the root cause of the problem. Growing discouraged and depressed, a friend referred me to Dr. Perkins. I had never been to a chiropractor and I had heard my share of stories, but at the this point, I had nothing left to lose. Upon meeting Dr. Perkins and his friendly staff, I felt immediately at ease, even optimistic! His bedside manner is professional, compassionate, and steeped in integrity. Through regular chiropractic adjustments, detoxification protocols and nutritional supplementation, my symptoms began to disappear and I began to feel whole again. I have even had my blood work done several times and there are no longer any markers for the disease that I was once told I would have to live with for the rest of my life. This experience was so inspiring to me, I transferred to Wayne State University (from MSU) and switched my degree to study Human Nutrition and Food Science. I was lucky enough to work with Dr. Perkins in my last year of school and he inspired me more and more each day. I actually went on to marry a chiropractor and not a day goes by that I do not think back to my time with Dr. Perkins and consider the model that he created and continues to implement at Alternative Health Solutions. As my husband and I build our practice, we often discuss Dr. Perkins. Be it his commitment to his patients, his brilliance with regards to innate health, or the fact, that he truly saved my life, Dr. Perkins is a true healer and an inspiration. I only wish that I still lived close enough to be a patient.
