You showed me it was not hopeless that I still had a chance at life. I was facing 17 years @ 25 years old. My addiction started earlier than 2014. However, that was the year it started going downhill. I have never been to rehab only a 120. On probation until I violated. The judge had said "Don't come back into my court room I have no problem sending you away". Here I was, a year and half later back addicted to drugs and living a life I wasn't proud of. My mom found Karie. That was the best thing that could have happened for me. Karie said "Believe in me like I believe in you and we both will be successful". When I first met Karie I was already waiting on my warrant to drop for probation violation. I'm not sure how she did it but, she convinced me to turn myself in. Here's where the believing comes in. She would call, text my family, make multiple trips back and forth. For me, someone she didn't know, "an addict". I'm clean and I can't thank her enough for me being this way. She has awesome resources, a big supporter of change, and the drug court program. She will fight like you are one of her family members.
