I have lots of anxiety and post traumatic symptoms from years of dental treatment. I was made to feel at ease even in the waiting room. Dr. Conway is absolutely the only Dentist that I've met that cares about mental health. I work in the mental health field where we allow clients to be in the driver's seat. This is what Dr. Conway does. He allows you to be the one to make the decisions and to say how you feel about the type of care that you're given. I was never once insulted or reprimanded for my lack of good oral hygiene. I take full responsibility for my negligence. Dr. Conway takes full responsibility at staying nonjudgmental and super gentle and careful while treating me. I had to have a crown removed and thought it was going to be a lot more problematic. Dr. Conway was able to remove it with very little discomfort and I am going to go back. I recommend him as a dentist!! Kudos to his amazing assistant and office staff. If you're like me and you are nervous about seeing a dentist after three or more years, check him out. I don't have dental insurance but I do have care-credit and it's working out great! You could ask any questions. The office staff are extremely caring and wonderful.

I made the mistake of assuming that since they said they work with all insurance companies that I would get my standard coverage. If you pay cash for all dental work they'd be a great choice; however, if you rely on insurance coverage for some portion of the total cost make sure to have that talk up front to prevent billing headaches that shouldn't happen.

She scheduled me in with-in a few days. They did a great cleaning, and, oops, found a small cavity. Dr Weber was nice enough to stop in just to introduce himself and say hi. Now thats sweet when they'll take the time to do that! Judy worked with me and my crazy schedule and was able to get me in a few days later due to a cancelation to take care of the cavity. I also had a problem with a sore tooth due to a very hold root cannel, Dr. Lori Weber was able to take care of that as well. They and their whole staff made me feel like I'd known them all for years! I asked three times, two assistance and the dentist himself, before having a procedure done if insurance was going to cover it and was told yes, all three times. I had concerns over whether or not my procedure was medically necessary or would be considered cosmetic and was told it would be medically covered. In the end the insurance denied the claim saying that the dentist did a procedure that was more expensive than what was needed and should have offered or provided a different procedure. I was never presented a second or alternative option and I was never told one might not be covered over the other. No preauthorization was sent prior to the work being done. I argued for months and even appealed with insurance and in the end Weber dental just threw their hands up and said oh well, here's a bill for thousands of dollars. They refused to accept any responsibility and refused to help me with the cost at all. They did allow for me to make payments but it took me a very long time to pay it off.

Dr.Velis truly understand and listen to your concerns carefully rather than insisting you to follow his suggestions. As far as respecting clients time not so much.... I always expect dental appointments to run long, but when I schedule an appointment at 8, I expect to been seen at 8, not 8:30. Three appointments and all three have been 20-45 minutes past the check in time. Once I was willing to forgive, twice I was annoyed, third time is unforgivable. I will say, I was told we never checked in to the 3rd appointment, but after waiting in line for ten minutes (it was very busy and the people ahead of us were not prepared. We were also fifteen minutes early because we have quite the drive and I don't like being late) spoke to a receptionist we had worked with at another location as well and she assured us we would be seen shortly, so on my end I did what I needed to do. Once back in the exam area we typically wait another 10-15 minutes. They seem to really struggle being ready to go and again all three times things were missing and they had to go looking for the supplies needed to complete the process.... Now it might be a bad time where they have a lot of new staff, but 3/3 tells me this is a systemic problem not an individual training issue. And the only staff we encountered more than once was the receptionist. We went to three different offices for our appointments so not a particular office either. Overall their staff are friendly, they just don't seem super confident or prepared.
