Dr. Madej has been our family doctor for the past ten years. He is not only a very brilliant and intuitive doctor, he is also very caring and genuine. He listens to your problems and concerns and then examines you. He will then discuss with you what he thinks is wrong and what would be the best plan of care. Dr. John Madej is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had... and I have quite a track record! I suffer from multiple overlapping autoimmune diseases. My symptoms are complex and can vary from day to day which makes diagnosing and treatment an ongoing challenge. Prior to finding Dr. Madej, I had seen a minimum of 20+ doctors. Most of them had no clue what to do with me and couldn't be bothered to try. They just passed me off to the next specialist, who in turn did the same thing... until I went to see Dr. Madej. I believe Dr. Madej literally saved my wife's life. She had been having abdominal pains for at least 24 hours. I called Dr. Madej and he told me to take her to the emergency room and he would coordinate her care with them. The ER people ran their tests and said they didn't see anything wrong and were preparing to release her and send her home. I was still very concerned so I called Dr. Madej back. He immediately contacted the ER and insisted that they keep my wife in the hospital and that he was on his way. He ordered a CT scan (which had not been done by the ER doctor) and found that my wife had a ruptured appendix and needed to have emergency surgery right away! The surgeon said that it took twice as long to do the surgery because the appendix had ruptured. If it wasn't for Dr. Madej, I would have taken my wife home and who knows what would have happened. Needless to say my wife and I are very thankful that he is our doctor! We have both been seeing him for almost eight years now and will definitely continue to call him "our doctor!"
