I delivered my first child with Hoff two years ago and I still reflect on how he made everything smooth sailing.

Was pregnant and wanted to schedule a checkup. She would only see me at 9-10weeks. Was scheduled…read morefor a 1 hour visit. Came in with my husband, as soon as the ultrasound was up we knew something was wrong. She said there was no heartbeat and immediately went into recommending a D&C. Our appointment was 5 Min long. I wanted to take a pill and she strongly rec against that and said it looked like a possible molar pregnancy. I asked her about risks of D&C including scarring and her exact words were "for you? There's no risk of that" We scheduled the D&C and she completed it. At the post op she said everything looked fine and that she herself had had a miscarriage and it's only my first one and it'll be okay. After 6weeks of no period (and regular periods my entire life like clockwork) I reached out to her. She said maybe I have pcos and wanted to put me on progesterone and do additional tests. Everything came back normal and she still wanted to put me on progesterone. After going on that, it did not change anything with my period and she continued to say nothing was wrong with the d&c. Months passed, I kept checking with her and she didn't refer me or recommend anything else. My period continued to not come for 6+ months. I did research myself and went to a specialist Reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist who confirmed that I had scarring from the D&C procedure. She did a procedure to remove scar tissue and my period came back but has been light ever since. The specialist said I have permanent damage from the D&C. I updated Dr Rao about what happened and she never responded even though she had viewed the message. She does not seem to really care about her patients. She also does not seem knowledgeable and is not thorough in her diagnoses, findings, or recommendations. Would not recommend her to anyone

Reluctant to spend any more than 1-2 minutes with the patient. Careless, arrogant and insensitive.read more

Here is my honest review: In 2020, Dr Wong delivered my son at Lucille Packard. She is nice,…read moreknowledgeable, very capable, gentle and overall a very good doctor. A few things I wish were different: it was one of my last appointments and I really hoped to have an ultrasound picture of the baby but she didn't agree. While my very last appointment was with Kaytha Clawson and she did an ultrasound and gave me a picture before I asked. This meant a lot to me since I had no ultrasound of my son in 3rd trimester. But this is not why I gave Dr Wong 3.5 stars. In year 2024, I had a small growth of cyst in my uterus. Dr Wong said typically these are benign but better to take it. 1- it took 2+ months just to get surgery scheduled. This made us lose time from our TTC journey. 2- once 10 min before surgery and once on a video visit, she said "since you have bleeding between period, removing the cyst would help..." I reminded her that I never had bleeding between periods and didn't say anything as such to her before. So she was mixing things up. 3- after my surgery, I hoped that I can talk to her. It seems she talked to my husband but he doesn't know what to ask while I was still under anesthesia. Dr Wong didn't call me or offer an appointment. I had to message multiple times to make a video appointment. The good things: my surgery was successful, easy recovery, no complications. My son was born easily and no complications. When you look at the results, Dr Wong is great. I know she is very capable, knowledgeable and cares about her patients but maybe she is too busy and can't keep up with the high demands. After the delivery of my son, I saw dr Wong 3-4 months later. She didn't drop by after birth or gave me a call. I understand she is really busy and I was doing fine so I was ok with it but if you are expecting your doctor to be very attentive, she may not be the one.

I chose Dr Wong based on the recommendation from the friend. I had her a primary ob during my…read morepregnancy. The first few visits were really good where she did all that is expected. She is definitely a good listener and calm and will make you feel she understands but not so good at follow ups and quality care. Few things that make me question/judge her quality of care are :: She forgot to give me covid vaccine during my pregnancy which lead to not having immunity to my baby in first 6 months of life. When I brought it up to her, she apologized and said it was not a mandatory so we did not mention it. She was on call doctor during my stay at hospital. She came on a rotational call and she just checked in with me verbally and didn't pay attention to or even did any physical exam ( which is very much expected as part of check up given I had 3hd degree tear). Postpartum check was scheduled with her at 7 weeks. I was complaining to her about my pain and how it is difficult for me to get up or sit for prolonged time. She again did not do any pelvic exam and just said I am healed well and can do everything. Next couple of days, the pain worson and I called the NP line..they were surprised to hear my pelvic exam was not performed during the postpartum visit and they scheduled me to immediately the next day. Given a chance, I will definitely choose any other OB over her.

Dr. Clawson delivered my twins almost 10 years ago. I has a major hernia after giving birth, but…read moredidnt know it. About a year after giving birth, I went back to see if my body was healing normally. I still looked about 7 months pregnant. She told me that 90% of women who have twins end up getting liposuction and tummy tucks. I got upset, and said I wasnt there to talk about that. I was afraid there was something wrong. She told me not to worry. To go on a diet, and hire a trainer for working out. I took her advice. I dieted, exercised like crazy. My belly didnt change, it actually got more painful. In addition to the physical pain, almost weekly, someone would ask me when my baby was due. I told them I had twins, now almost 2 years ago, and this is the aftermath. It happened so often, I started to become mad at the rude people asking. I think probably 100 people asked in the 2 years, before I found out about the hernia. I should have reported Dr. Clawson then, but needed to get past the traumatic belly, and tried to move on. People continued to ask. I became desperate to figure out what was wrong with my belly. I went to see a plastic surgeon about cool sculpting. The doctor examined me, and said I'm not a candidate for it. The doctor told me that I actually have a medical problem happening, called diastasis recti. My entire abdominal wall from pubic bone to sternum was torn open, and my organs were herniating out! No wonder still looked pregnant. That doctor told me I needed to go back and see my OB doctor. I did, and told her the findings. She said I told you 90% of women who have twins, need lipo. and tummy tucks.... I got so mad at her. I told her how unprofessional, and careless her advice was. I told her I want to get it fixed, so I can feel normal, exercise safely, and pick up my kids without pain. She then referred me to a plastic surgeon who did a great job sewing me up. He said it took thousands of stitches! It was a really big deal. Couldn't hold my kids for 2 months after the surgery. I'm happy to say, my belly now looks normal. Hopefully no one will ask me ever again, if I'm pregnant! Such a rude question. I'm only writing this to help other women with similar problems, to not take Dr.Clawson's unprofessional bedside manner personally. She really upset me. Women know their bodies! I knew there was a problem. I dont recommend her as a doctor.

I appreciated the check in during her rounds the day I was discharged and I know that I'm one of many patients but she did a good job of showing empathy and has a great bedside manner. The physicians at this practice are known for being skilled, attentive, and patient. We appreciated that we never felt rushed and always were given ample time and attention to have questions and concerns thoroughly addressed throughout our pregnancy. Our doula mentioned that the doctors at this practice are particularly beloved by the nursing staff at Sequoia (where Freyja delivers), and it doesn't hurt to have your L&D nurses excited to work with your birth team. Dr. Wang is highly skilled, positive, and knowledgable, and also has a calming presence - exactly what I needed as a somewhat anxiety prone knowledge junkie navigating our first experience with pregnancy. I always felt well informed of my options and comforted by her excellent care. Dr. Wang helped make our pregnancy and birth experience smooth, even through the less comfortable parts. I know some folks get ornery about the wait at Freyja. My hot take: your appointment might not start right on time because the doctors here give their full attention to their patients' concerns and questions. Personally, I'd rather spend longer in the waiting room and have my needs thoughtfully met when it's my turn than to have punctual appointments that are impersonal and rushed. But, everyone's needs are different. Dr. Wang is an excellent doctor. Highly recommended for your pre- and post-baby needs!

What stayed with me most from our very first appointment was the first question she asked me: "Tell me about your journey." In that moment, I felt truly seen and heard for the first time by a doctor. She took the time to understand not only my medical situation, but also the emotional weight behind it. Her compassion and encouragement gave me hope to keep moving forward despite the difficult road ahead. Dr. Li also patiently explained the possible causes, treatment options, and next steps in a way that made me feel informed and supported rather than overwhelmed. After that appointment, I quietly made a promise to myself that if I were ever lucky enough to become pregnant, I wanted her to be the doctor who delivered my baby. After more than a year of fertility treatments, that dream finally came true. I was able to conceive successfully, returned to Dr. Li for my OB care, and in April 2026, she delivered my baby boy. Her kindness, warmth, knowledge, and genuine care for her patients make every appointment feel comforting rather than stressful. I am incredibly grateful that she was part of my journey into motherhood, and I will always appreciate the support and compassion she showed me during such an important chapter of my life.
