I personally have called four times to get it done, each time I called, they said they would take care of it. Never got done. Now my surgery is tomorrow. I still don't have the form to give my surgeon to go ahead for my surgery. Unbelievable!

Visited Ft Walton Beach Hospital on a Monday to get special labwork done at the outpatient lab…read more Parked at main entrance and immediately found a handicapped space at the main entrance. After entring the main entrance I requested directions to the "Outpaient Lab" at the Information Desk, and a young man said he would take me there as it was in the far end of the newly added extension to the hospital. Yes, it is in the "Outpatient Entrance" at the back of the hospital. (Note, parking is notoriously bad back there.) I was introduced to Hiram who dircects patients waiting for outpatient care. He quickly took my name, DOB, and reason for the visit. Told to take a seat, within two minutes, I was called to a window where the the very pleasant and efficient Ms. Shaneka, had me sign the requisite paperwork and showed me to the outpatient lab. She was terrifi! I was immediately seated in a "patient" chair, and Ms. June drew my blood. The entire process almost took less time than the walk from the main entrance. Hiram, Shaneka and the lab staff made the process painless and fast, and it was a Monday! Thanks to all for the outstanding service.

The Nurses were very knowledgeable and thoughtful! I cut my right thumb at the mid-joint area and was afraid I may had done damage. It was a freak accident at a beauty salon. The was a metal plate at the end of each arm and I grabbed it; boom big cut! Tetanus shot was given, and RX. ARNP Joan was professional and reassured me I would be fine! So, I left feeling much better. I'm really glad they were there!

Not only was she over an HOUR late (did not apologize for running late), she said she would prescribe me antibiotics for my painful ear infection, and she failed to call those into the pharmacy before her practice closed on December 29th (when my appointment was). Because she failed to callI I won't get my antibiotics called into the pharmacy until Dr. Susan Guentzel returns to her office on January 3rd (I STILL AM IN PAIN FROM EAR INFECTION). If you have the option of going to another doctor, MAKE SURE TO DO SO...Dr. Susan Guentzel isn't even worth a 1 star rating.

"First Off" Dr. Gowda is the best general practitioner that I have seen. He takes his time do go…read moreover whatever the medical issue is and he makes sure you leave with some form of an answer. He takes a holistic approach, not just treating your current issue, but also focusing on the inter-workings of your day to day life. He takes time to get to know what life is like for you outside of his office. He makes sure to ask very thorough questions and keeps amazing documentation of each visit. The service is always prompt. If I had a standing appointment, I am taken back to my room within minutes. The entire staff is friendly and makes you feel as if they know or remember you. If you are new to the area or just looking for a great primary care doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Gowda!
