August marks a year now and still no pool and no word from John since beginning of July. We had to pay to get all the trash & debris cleaned up, pay to get the stone work finished (even though we had already paid John for that phase of the contract but he didn't pay his subs!!!). No end in sight for this disaster! Horrible contractor! Promised project done in 16 weeks and it has been a year of failed commitments. He front loaded his contract for payments and then walked away leaving us with an unfinished project and significant expense. This is NOT an "unprecedented times" labor or material issue, this is an issue with an incompetent contractor who continues to lie, delay and fail to show up or respond.
