I googled nearby clinics and found Beaver Creek Dental Care. From the moment I called, they were incredibly compassionate. The receptionist was so kind and got me in immediately, even helping me through the paperwork. Since I didn't have my insurance, I was told I'd have to pay out of pocket, but at that point all I wanted was relief. Tevia, the dental assistant, was amazing. For the first time in my dental experience, someone applied numbing gel before even taking the X-ray. She was attentive, sweet, and worked quickly while listening to my concerns. Then I met Dr. Reagan McNerney. She was an absolute blessing. After hearing my situation, she gave me two options: prescribe medication and discount the X-ray so I could wait until I got back to my dentist in Florida, or reattach the cap right away. I chose to have her put the cap back on, and before proceeding, she personally checked in with the front desk to make sure the cost would be reasonable for me. To my surprise, Dr. McNerney went above and beyond--she lowered the cost significantly to help me out, understanding I was just visiting and would continue treatment back home. Within minutes, the procedure was done seamlessly. She even had my prescription ready so I could pick it up right after. Dr. McNerney's kindness and generosity truly restored my faith in humanity. She didn't take advantage of my situation; instead, she cared for me like I was a longtime patient. I left feeling respected, valued, and deeply grateful. Thank you, Dr. McNerney, Tevia, and the Beaver Creek Dental Care team, for turning such a painful experience into one of compassion and genuine care. I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

Nearly 2 years later they started billing me for over $1,000 claiming we were out of network. The women working the front desk is very unkind and impatient & seems to have no interest in hearing anything out so we can come to a reasonable resolution. A lot of what we are being told about the financial side of things here is simply not adding up. We feel swindled & lied to. There are other options locally with better bedside manner and frankly a higher quality of service.

Also, gave an estimate of $220.20 for procedure after they "stated" they checked with insurance. Insurance has NO RECORD of any calls from this dentist office. The estimate ends up being DOUBLE or $432.20 because they didn't factor things in from the insurance company, had the actually contacted them, would have determined. I got an "I'm sorry" this happened, that's how estimates work with dentist and medical field. And WE Don't have time to spend all day talking to insurance companies. REALLY?!? Isn't that exactly your job. It took me 5 minutes to find out YOU didn't make the call? So even though nothing was MY fault. I'm stuck paying DOUBLE what they estimate? And what kind of estimate is DOUBLE in cost anyway. I can actually see being off $10, $20, or even $50, but DOUBLE $212?!? Very poorly run operation which is more concerned with $ than accepting responsibility of being wrong.

THEY WERE ALL A DIFFERENT COLOR & one of them fell out this year while eating a piece of bread. I almost swallowed the tooth accidently! The rest were not shoved into the gum line well enough & have that annoying space while flossing. It was a ridiculous scene of being uncomfortably rushed....but I thought they knew what they were doing!?! One of the receptionists promised there would be plenty of time, then lied about it when I arrived & never had the descency to apologize. The other front desk associate was SO wonderfully honest. When the office was investigated last year, she told the truth & notified my insurance company that each tooth was a different color & admitted I was not given the proper amount of time or care. I previously had a root canal done a few years ago by a Tufts student in Boston. That, as you may have guessed, didn't work out too well. Dr. Sullivan knows exactly how to properly numb your mouth so that you feel NO pain. At all. Nothing. I didn't realize that you're not supposed to feel pain because all my previous dental work was done without being properly numb (and I didn't know to speak up). The kicker - he called me that evening to check on me! Who does that anymore?? No, wait, another kicker - after the novocaine wore off I didn't experience any soreness or pain. I was so excited and bragged about this experience to everyone at work the next day.
