A post from Facebook showing that they couldn't take constructive criticism.

Well Joey's Manning...it was a good run. But now that you deleted my review on your Facebook page in regards to the lack of ingredients and presentation with your take out food, and blocking me from being able to even comment on your posts...I shall give my farewell. You've just lost a customer that's done nothing but praise you in the past. Not just myself, but people I would come and dine with. All because you couldn't handle constructive criticism. Very disappointing indeed. Shows how poorly this place is managed now, and how quickly it's gone down hill.

Thanks to our lovely waitress Mercedes. We enjoyed a nice meal that was tasty and filling. I ordered the tri-fish and chips with gravy and our waitress pin pointed what each of them was. She got the fish tacos and absolutely loved it. We had the Sushi Crunch to start and it was not bad. Awesome service.

There are a few large…read moretables that can accommodate about 10 people but best to make a reservation in case they are occupied. During our dinner, the smaller tables were filled up. The seats are comfortable and it can get a little tight for space if others are seated at tables around you. After we ordered, the food didn't take long to arrive at the table and there wasn't long gaps in between the 10 dishes. The presentation of the food was ok, and some of the dishes didn't look as appetizing as at other restaurants. The taste of the food was alright with some dishes not having enough flavour. One dish had boneless chicken, and they didn't cut it very well and it was more like 3 pieces. The bird's nest was dark and it looked like the oil wasn't changed recently. The shrimp in the shrimp with peaches dish were small and deep fried. The service throughout the meal was good with drinks refilled. They also offered dessert at the end of the meal. There are a few things that stood out about the restaurant. The emergency exit is a door that is all covered up with paper and there are chairs right against the door. Not sure if there's an emergency, people could get out using that door. In the women's washroom, the larger stall had a hole in the ceiling with a ladder coming down from it. On the floor there were boxes of empty beer bottles. I guess they are short of storage space but not sure about the hole and ladder? I didn't use that stall for fear someone might drop in! Not my favourite Chinese food restaurant but it wasn't terrible either. Won't be back anytime soon.

Really good Pork-Chop also I love the beef brisket that they make so fantastically goodread more

The freshest salmon in yeg. Poke tuna and salmon is top notch. I discovered this hidden gem from my mom. She always goes here to stock up on fresh seafood. I was blown away with the selection as it is similar to the fish markets in japan. Nothing is frozen here since the items sold, are often gone after a few days. What caught my eye on my last visit was the giant king prawn and the fresh salmon. Both of those items were stellar and I honestly could not rave about it any more. They also have a quick stop catering place for for grab and go items like the crab roll and fish and chips. I really loved the crab roll as I do not know anywhere else that makes these fresh daily! There are tons of specialty items like oils, sauces, pastas, honey... even yogurt sauce. Most of the items are from Italy, france, japan and greece. Another great thing about this place is the little lollipops from france or juice from japan. There is always room for a little extra deliciousness. A must stop for any special occassions to get your seafood needs.

Absolutely shocked…read more. My 73-year-old Mother attended church at Resurrection Parish on Sunday morning. She decided to park in the parking lot of the old IGA for Sunday service not thinking it was a big deal as there were no parking signs in the southwest corner of the parking lot and her and her friends have frequently gone for coffee in the strip mall after service was over, not to mention there was not a single car in the whole parking lot. Luckily Church ended early, only to find her car in the air from Cliff's Towing being called out by "Catch of The Week". In shock, my Mother paid the Toe truck driver on the spot to release her vehicle with a hit of $216.25. After she had told me this, we visited the store the next day and asked to speak to the manager. After a long debate, the frustrated manager did not care about pissing off the community in which his Business operates- a very poor business move in my opinion, upon which we were lastly yelled at and told "THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY, NOW GET THE F*CK OFF MY PROPERTY". Very disappointed in the way they handled the situation, and to say the least- we and others we inform will NOT be shopping for extremely overpriced Halibut coming in at $98/ KG!!? The 'catch' is that they don't care about the customers in the community and the LAST thing they will get from me is this Review!

It is a great place to share a bunch of items with friends. Two of my favourite things are the boar cheeks and the piri piri prawns. I also love the sardines but our friends weren't so eagar to have them. So what we ordered was a wonderful bottle of Portuguese wine, boar cheeks braised in red wine, topped with crispy onions, patatas bravas -fried potatoes, spicy aioli, piri piri prawns with piri piri aioli, robalo -European seabass fillet with olive oil, sea salt and lemon, and Spanish pork sausages with puttanesca mustard, baked Portuguese baguette and butter, and smoked duck carpaccio with truffle oil, arugula. Everything was delicous but the standout for sure was the seabass and the smoked duck carpaccio. I think that I should try a few new dishes each time I go. You will never know what will be your new favourites.

Although we arrived a bit late, and the baby wasn't fully at ease, we were able to step in and out comfortably since the space is so intimate. I'd say it might not be the best place for a baby due to its size, but the food was outstanding. We tried a bit of everything: bore cheek, meatballs, calamari, Brussels sprouts, bone marrow, mussels, patatas bravas, and bacon-wrapped dates--each one a standout. For dessert, we couldn't resist and ordered the whole menu--every bite was delicious. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine that paired perfectly. Despite the baby's fuss, we thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant flavors, the warm atmosphere, and the attentive service. We'll definitely be back!
