I even went through the progress trims ect with her ect...she proceeded to hacked the heck out of my hair. I had a colour that day that worked out well brought new shampoo and con to assist colour.But $350 in one day and previously, hundreds of my dollars down the drain. All for nothing!! I have got my hair styled/curled dozens of times and always takes 40-50 minutes, never more then that. This time, I made a appointment 2 weeks before for 12pm, as I have to be out by 1pm and have a wedding to attend, not to mention I need to do the make-up of family members beforehand. I showed the hairdresser my hair and told me it would only take her 45 minutes. Long story short, I arrived on time that day, 15 minutes into curling and pinning up my hair, the hairdressers friend walked in complaining about a problem she had with hair, she had no appointment, so the hairdresser left doing my hair and worked on her friends for about 30 minutes. After she returned, she pinned up my hair and left it for too long. By the time she was removing my pins it was 1:40, I told her I would finish it off at home with the teasing and brushing out. She knew I was annoyed and blamed it on my hair by saying "Your hair is very thick! Thats why it took so long" in a jokingly way, actually it took long because she left me for ages to attend to her friend. I ended up leaving at 1.45, when I should of been finished an hour ago. I was extremely late and had people waiting on me, which was added stress to the other things I needed done that day. Either way, I loved the curls and the previous visits I had, I just personally think that a client shouldn't be left for the hairdresser to attend to friends.

Great little salon in the competitive area of Mawson Lakes, it has been there for just over a year…read moreand seems to be getting busier lately. The owner Renae is the only hairdresser and she also sells shoes from her salon too. Every time if have been here, Renae has done my hair exactly how I have wanted it, changed anything I asked and chatted to me casually throughout. She is a genuine nice person who is easy to get along with and she puts in a lot of effort as a young person to make her own business work. The place is decked out nicely with purple paint, black wallpaper and lots of mirrors and nice chairs. All of her equipment is quality and she doesn't skimp on time or product when dealing with your hair. I am now a regular client and visit Renae to get my hair done fairly often and also have a gossip, as you do with your hairdresser. And I feel good about supporting a young girl starting her own business and making something of herself.

Actually that might be a bit of an unfair statement, but I think that name would more than suggest that it's not a man's world inside. The prices are reasonable for what they offer. My partner went in for a bit of a trim and was reasonably happy with the job and cost involved. She's looking for a new "regular" place to get her hair done, and while I'm not sure she's settled on it, (she's trying a few places right now), this is high on the list.
