Dr. Kahn is able to practice medicine with the focus on the patient's welfare, not some institutional medical conglomerate's or insurance executive's formulas, quotas, or profit margins. The clinic staff was also very patient, friendly and helpful. Lisa made the whole mad-dash to get started and get the massive number of test results, reports, and medical history, much less stressful (with a sprinkle of humor added.) The man is very abrupt and does not seem to want to listen to his patients. He is more concerned with listening to the sound of his own voice. He is not an easy doctor to talk to as he always tries to over talk you. I have even noticed him making faces while I'm describing what's going on with my physical self. When I had an issue with prescription he told me that his staff was too busy and could not stay on hold trying to solve the problem. It turned out that all they needed to do was to make a phone call for an approval, and I told him this three times. He kept telling me, that it was something I needed to do and he had no idea how to get a medication approved. When I told him I thought he was difficult to talk to he was not apologetic at all just told me well, you need to be happy. He had no empathy for how I was feeling.
