They were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Robert really listened to what I wanted and also had great recommendations for the design. The craftsmanship is truly excellent and the final result exceeded my expectations! The wall looks absolutely beautiful and completely transformed my living room - the pictures honestly don't do it justice. On top of that, the price was very reasonable for the quality of work. If you're looking for someone who does high-quality custom work, communicates well, and actually delivers what they promise, I highly recommend OC Finishwood!

Bill is a true craftsman! I've had a wood gate that has needed rebuilding for the last 8 years…read more Pieces of the wood gate were rotting. Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

Reached out to Matthew based on his stellar Yelp reviews. Reviews were spot on!…read more I needed to replace an old pocket door that had fallen off the tracks. This can be a pretty evasive job if you do not know what you are doing. Matthew and his assistant (his name escapes me right now but equally respectful and nice) did an amazing job! I replaced the old plain door with a six panel door that matched the rest of the updated home. He bought the door, I supplied the paint for the wall and door that I had left over and he took it from there. In less than a day, job was finished, area spotless and craftsmanship perfect. Highly recommend!
