I had to make use of the Brighton Job Centre a while back when I was in between work. I wasn't initially enamoured with the place by having to pass a stern looking security guard and into the throng of peeps waiting to use their services.
I had intended on going for the full on interview and discussion about available work, but from the whole negative vibe of the place, ended up just using a computer terminal job search. It was somewhat helpful in letting me know what jobs were going in the city and surrounding area, but was not working 100%. I managed to struggle through and was able to print out a few promising vacancies.
I guess I haven't really been here enough to judge the actual staff level of service, but from chatting to a few friends who have got that far they seem to be positive or negative in equal measure.
With this in mind I am going to sit on the fence with a 3 star review, but as an actual building and instant services available I would probably use the Internet in future situations, rather than the centre. read more
