Loved the shirts. Good prices compared to NYC. Staff very friendly and helpful (and their English was better than my French, luckily.)

The best part of this place is the staff. Every time I come to Paris, I stop in here at least once…read moreto shop but also just to chat. They are pretty well entrenched into the fabric the seemingly ever-changing Montmartre/Barbès neighborhood. The owner and in-house label designer is always a pleasure to chat with. He likes to chop it up about everything from hip hop music, to design, and politics. If you're just passing through be sure to get some dining recommendations as well. They know the spots. But I digress... The boutique is dope. They offer a number of niche brands that create some quality clothing. Also the in-house Isakin brand is coming out with some very well put together pieces each season. I shop mostly for their pieces when I'm there. They give you that Parisien refinement without any of the pretentiousness. You can't help but to love it. This place is a neighborhood gem.
Very unique and well constructed with up cycled fabrics. One off designs and friendly helpread more

Stop shouting. Amanda F: JE PEUX PORTER CES BOTTES MAINTENANT?!?! I bought those boots, at 50% off while all the Frenchies laughed at me. But I got the coolest boots, at 50% off. So I like to think I got the last laugh.

Their merchandise is extremely diverse, comprising just about anything you want across three buildings. The main building, where you'll find women's fashions, accessories, cosmetics, eyeglasses (including an optometrist), sportswear, children's wear, is topped with a must-see art glass dome, complete with a glass cat walk (maybe on the 4th floor?) that enables up close viewing of the dome from the inside. There are restaurants, rest rooms, and sweets shops in this building, too. Menswear has a building all to itself, as does the food court. Be careful here. There are so many delicious and appetizing foods offered in the food court building that you'll be tempted to overstuff. It would be just too easy to spend an entire day shopping at Galleries Lafayette.

We went to the 6th floor to get souvenirs, cookies, and gifts to bring home. Our suitcases will be packed full. Great service, friendly staff. No pictures, the store was too crowded and I didn't want to get in trouble for taking pictures with no permission.

It sort of feels as though you're walking into a well laid-out cave or lair. The best part, though, is Mr. Ashpool's (the brand's creator) mother. She is very enthusiastic about the brand and knowledgable about the neighborhood. She loves to talk and interact with the customers and that makes the shop feel even better. Aside from the shopping, I'd like to just stop back in and chat with her. I also appreciate the fact that there are many pieces that you can only find in the store, so shopping there almost ensures that you won't be wearing a piece that everybody in any major city already has. Dope space with great people running it; no complaints.
