I discovered this shop on Instagram just after leaving Paris last year and was looking forward to visiting now that I'm back again since they carry brands hard for me to find in the states. It was obvious I was dressed in same level brands and styles as they carry and wanted to see about my size on items that I was obviously enthusiastic for. I got a "bonjour" when I walked in and that's it. I bought hard to get Japanese magazines since I didn't need help with those and I hate myself for giving them the business. The magazines cost twice that of a scarf some French speaking person bought but you'd think they just spent a million Euro there. Le Sigh, huge disappointment because I went out of my way to visit after just having an amazing cafe experience due in part to the waitresses we had.

CUT TO: A YEAR LATER I am still asking for a simple small refund for a less than a $100 dollar sale that you weren't able to fulfill. So many excuses... your internet is down, someone is out of town... Absurd. This is 2020. PayPal me. Do whatever. Don't you want to be done with it also?? This place has everything one would imagine a Swedish store would have; lovely warm hand-knit sweaters, scarves and socks, and best of all, CLOGS! I got a super cute pair of sandals that are certainly nothing like your grandmothers. They have moderate heel, about 2.5 inches, which makes them a bit more feminine and girly. My travel partner who had been looking for THE leather jacket, a combination of: perfect fit, unique design, and timeless cool ... he managed to find THE jacket here. (Note: We have been trolling the shops of LA, SF and the internet for several months.) The garcons manning the shop were geniaux, and hip without being too much like our hometown boys in Los Feliz... those guys can be too much. (It's not safe to ride a bike without brakes around LA, let alone ride a bike with a camera around your neck.) While uniquely different, French Trotters reminded me a teeny tiny bit of Mohawk General Store on Sunset Blvd. And that made me smile because I like that shop. Cool stuff. Cool people.
