Awesome Marina! Employees do a lot of hard work to maintain the Marina, especially during the Texas heat. Office staff is very polite & professional, most negative reviews aren't necessarily about the Marina, but from a former liver board that's no longer here. The staff is working on improving the area. Just recently remodeled the bathrooms and improving the piers! Some residents don't like to think about the others, so obviously there's always going to be a couple rule breakers but the manager is removing them! read more

I was at the marina today helping my son clean his boat and got to meet the harbor master who happens to have the personality of and unripe persimmon. My wife and I had considered moving our boat to this marina until today. The 2 young men that were taking out and putting boats in the water were very helpful!! read more

We've had our boat here since we became boat owners for the first time a year and a half ago and have loved it. Location is quiet and well kept. There isn't a lot of traffic in and out which was great as first time boat owners learning what to do. It is safe, so we never worried about our boat or the car while boating. The staff are SUPER friendly and very nice! Our first few weekends, they were there giving us pointers and answering questions. They always say hello and are happy/smiling! The management are always hosting gatherings that for their clients with free food and fun, but we haven't been able to make it to one. When we had our boat naming celebration, we were able to bring food and grill in their covered outdoor picnic area. There is a pool and restrooms on site. Getting the boat in and out of the water is very easy, just call and they'll take care of you. They have dry racks for cleaning the boat with water hook-ups... Clear Lake is a nice family friendly location with areas for swimming or rafting. Kemah boardwalk is close by too... I've heard that the water is low if your boat is large or that there is a lot of debris in the lake but we have never had a problem... Especially if you stay within the channel... The only reason we will be leaving is because our boating needs are taking us fishing out of Galveston more frequently than family fun in the lake and it can be quite a ride to make it out that far... If we ever find that our needs change back, we will return for sure! And we definitely recommend this place for others!!!! read more

By far the worse marina ever. The employees feast on gossiping about the marina customers meaning you and spreading rumors about customers meaning you. In every organization there can be a cancer the sad part about this place is their cancer doesn't even work there. He is a little old man liveaboard you will see hanging out in office or pedaling his canvas business or begging for food or striping boats up for auction for parts to sell or leverage. He will at first come off as very helpful until you wise up. If you pay him prepare to spend months threatening him to get your money back or the actual canvas (boat covers) that you may or may not ever get. The manager "former daycare worker" great skills needed to run a marina btw....is the most unprofessional person, shady, nosiest person. I could give you many examples. I would not trust her if I were you. They maybe have 1-2 nice employees Megan, the tall blonde guy, the old guy with long hair the rest are bullies who are miserable in their own lives taking it out on you. They dont have a clue what customer service is. In fact i don't remember this marina doing anything different safety wise during covid 19 warnings. The bathrooms are full of big roaches and bloody shower curtains the bathrooms are only cleaned once a week. Pool cleaned once a week. So bottom line employees are miserable people, horrible customer service, horrible amenities, internet sucks, you will be gossiped about not just amongst themselves but with other customers, do not be scammed by little old man trying to sell you a canvas for your boat. The owners need to run their own business or be more involved. Its sad cause the location is one of the best it is actually beautiful scenery but I believe the employees/manager are running business in the ground. You get much better vibes at other marinas. Im not gonna mention the guys name duh but doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, but i know his name and you know his name which is why you felt the need to make this post and put me on blast attacking my character very desperate sad attempt to make friends with them i guess. Yelp is for people who will speak up and tell the truth not attack someone for being an introvert. I personally heard your ex husband begging him for months to give him money or canvas and even heard her begging him to let her help him finish it since its been so long. This is not his first time there were others who even called the office and the owners on him and they didn't put end to it they let him continue to sell his services and before i left i heard him asking a new tenants to do their canvas. You paid him up front a very long ago which clearly you are not a very good consumer to try to give someone else advice. Does he even have a business license? Texas is a consumer friendly state. You dont have to be a social butterfly to be on the marina just love water. You are there maybe for few hours once a month if that i was there all the time and i heard all and he told me all not just your situation others paid him and didn't get canvas. Perhaps he still working on your canvas after many times begging him and and telling him you want money back asking him to let you help him what since Nov of last year we are in May? I heard him asking your ex husband for chicken and your ex husband said he needs to buy him chicken all the money you paid as a naive consumer upfront i think$3000 i mean i don't make this crap up. But you clearly want to mislead people but speak truth spend more than 1 day a month there before you speak. Clearly you are drinking the cool aid and i get it i would if i were you leaving your boat there unattended as much as you do and especially if you still to this day don't even have your canvas back which I'm willing to bet you don't. Im sure he went straight to you to see if you told me since you were his latest victim but good luck getting your canvas. So sad...i heard your ex husband tell the whole story to the engine repair guy, you're not his first victim btw. i felt bad for your guys and anyone else who gets taken advantage of. I'm new to marinas so with that in mind I'll tell you that this marina is great. It's more of a working man's marina. Not pretentious or snooty. The live aboards are very nice and helpful people. The marina staff are also friendly and helpful. The rates are great for floating dock moorage or dry dock speed boat storage (there is no additional charge for putting your boat in to or out of the water). Everything is clean including the laundry room, party cabana, shower facilities, and the pool. They also have monthly appreciation gatherings which include free food?! Okay yes there is one major drawback. It's a little shallow. If your boat has more than a 4.5 foot draft, you might be on your keel during winter. The marina is under new management and is trying to get the channel dredged and the silt removed from the marina, but I don't recommend holding your breath for that. Budgets ya know... read more
