Wow...people are harsh! I did not find the service to be bad at all and my 4 star rating is for the actual service appointment. I brought my car in for its 1st service - 5,000 miles. I made an appointment and was introduced to Patrick who was super nice. When I arrived, the girl who checked me in told me it would be a 2 hour wait. I was hesitant but I was there already and it's pretty far from my house to come back. When I met Patrick, he said it would take no time bc they weren't busy (Sat 2pm), they don't do an oil change and the tires can't be rotated. So I asked why I was getting so many texts, phone calls and emails about getting my car serviced? They started contacting me months ago, relentlessly, until I called and told them to stop as I didn't yet have 5,000 miles nor was it 6 months since I got the car. It was REALLY annoying, tbh. Patrick said that the girls who initiate the correspondences don't know too much about the service appointments and what they entail, which they should if they're calling me off the hook like there's a fire. Anyway, the 1st service appt is a complete waste of time but that's not a poor reflection on the dealership, it's on Lexus. They make it sound like you're getting something for nothing, 1st 2 services are free, but that's a white lie bc they don't do anything at the 1st service, but at least they put air in my tires and washed it. I was there for an hour, not just a few minutes, but overall, my experience was obviously much better than others. So, they took me on time, Patrick was very nice, they have a comfortable lounge and idk what else people expect. I will ask for Patrick next time and hopefully I will have a good experience again! read more

Do not use this place for any kind of body work!!! I left my truck here with the expectations of excellent workmanship and was let down. Compound left everywhere,over spray everywhere! I left my truck with a full tank of gas video documented and when I picked my truck up it was down a quarter tank. I have a supercharged tundra which someone took out and abused and management covers for their employees!! We purchased my wife's Lexus here and needless to say I will never use JM again!!! read more

Still waiting to hear back from Lexus rep (Alexis) at the corporate office for my unresolved issues at JM Lexus. I made my initial complaint on Wednesday August 9 to the intake operator. Case Manager Alexis whom was assigned my case called me on Tuesday August 15, 6 DAYS LATER to follow up on my complaint.(Certainly not timely). She was to get back to me with a decision for a possible resolution for my inconveniences. I have attempted 2 calls to her this past week to no avail. ( message left with Luke on 8/17 and with Danny on 8/18) . As of today 3 DAYS LATER FRIDAY AUGUST 18, AT 230 PM still waiting for a return call from her. Again, certainly not timely in her follow up !!! Is it too much to ask for a courtesy call these days? Shortly , after much frustration and wanting to have closure , I asked to speak with her manager, and Jennifer her supervisor returned my call and had Alexis contact me. Alexis was extremely unhelpful and when i requested for another rep for assistance ,she informed me she was the only rep in this district and no other person could help. She stated she had contacted several people at the dealership (JAIME,GREG,TAYLOR and BOB COLLINS) for assistance and did not get a return call. Question, why would Alexis contact Taylor for assistance when she knows one of my complaints dealt directly with Taylor ., and WHY WHY would Alexis contact Mr Collins ? He is on vacation until August 21 and she was informed of this as well on August 15 during my conversation with her. What a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT in her customer service skills. We stopped in at JM and were very courteously attended to by sales manager Dario Dziamalek. We were given a very solid offer for our 2015 and very reasonable lease rate for a new IS300. JM as a company holds a reputable brand however that isn't alway the case with all employees within. I have had superior service when dealing with each associate from the purchase to the servicing of my vehicle all until I stumbled upon Mr Diego Restrepo who holds the title of "loaner manager". The malpractices that he endorses when dealing with "certain" people seems to be associated with some of who falls within a certain stereotype. I felt as though I fell victim of profiling when dealing with him, simply through the personal harassment and interrogation of my insurance carrier simply to be placed in a loaner which I have had several times before with no issue. Let's just say that what has always taken no more than 15 minutes took a total of 56 minutes seemingly in an effort to find some reason to deny. And to think I could have been on my way because they handed me keys to a loaner after being handed the same documents they required before (considering what should be an easy process) is beyond me. I chose to request a different vehicle due to my possible interest in purchasing another vehicle soon. I realized soon that that was a bad idea. me access. I have never been in such a stressful and painful environment and considering I expressed the time constraint I had coupled with the fact that I had my 1 year old with me he sure made this by far the worst experience I have ever encountered when dealing with anyone. read more

I believe this is the first time I have ever reviewed JM Lexus auto service. I own an NT200t which required a 60,000 miles check up along with an oil change. Of course 60,000 was a major check up. For the first time, I was assigned a point of contact, Jim Bramble, who was outstanding! He explained everything that was to be done and the cost. I told him about the rear camera which had failed to work, etc. The cost was approximately $530, but I was confident it was money well spent because of his thorough explanation.Jim arranged for a loaner and explained that he would call to let me know when my vehicle was ready. He called after a few hours to explain that the back rear camera needed to be ordered; and that it would arrive the next day at which time I would be able to pick up my car. In the meantime, I got another call explaining other things that were detected that required my attention. Jim was patient, taking time to explain, providing me the details and pricing. It was a significant expense and I asked him to help me prioritize as I could not do them all. Never, ever have I had this kind of attention. Jim was genuine and sincere. He explained about the pricing and encouraged me to get other estimates. I'm feeling confident again about this place and of course, loving my new advisor! read more

I brought my current Lexus in for service. Since my mileage was way over, they showed me it was a good idea to get a new car. The negotiations went well, and I left happy with my new car. However, I got a hybrid, and they were supposed to send me my new HOV sticker for my car. Two months later, I still had not received the sticker, and was told they would check into it. Never got a return phone call OR my sticker. Horrible customer service. Finally I got a manager on the phone, and she told me no one ever submitted the paper work to have it issued. That"s why I never received it !!! They were quick and helpful when I was buying the car and spending money. But afterwards when I needed things taken care of, no help at all. My wife and I decided to car shop after work and went to JM lexus, pre owned showroom to look I had called earlier and spoke to Peter Santovito about a 2013 es 350 and told him I would like to show it to my wife, we arrived 4hous later and noticed the same car in front with a hold tag in the windshield, washed clean and ready for demo. 2 hours later we drove home in it, 5yr/100000 mile warranty and a smile on our face for the great service afforded us from peter, andrew and dan menninger..Thanks you guys!!, you made car buying enjoyable again. After paying off my car over a year and a half ago. Still do not have a title for it. On my bill it clearly states registration fees/ title 87.60. Which of course I paid in full. But, do you think I can get any assistance from anyone at the dealership. Not a chance! They pass you over toyota financial who says that it is done electronically. I recently leased a 2015 Lexus IS 350 F Sport from JM Lexus. The car buying experience was incredible. I wasn't even considering a Lexus. I had some horrible shopping experiences earlier that day with other car dealerships. Because my In-Laws have been buying from JM Family for years my wife recommended that we go check them out. We were told to ask for Tim Spellman in Sales. I was very happy we did.Tim was the most friendly, professional, and knowledgeable car sales professional I have ever met or worked with. He actually listened to what I was looking for and came up with the right car for me. I was extremely satisfied working with him and highly recommend him as the person to ask for if you are in need of a car. Ask for Tim Spellman. My entire buying experience was easy, seamless, and the customer service from everyone was impeccable. The whole experience took under 90 minutes on a busy Saturday. Collision Center I bought my 2015 Lexus GX 460 on 10/25/14, and on 11/08/14 someone hit my car in the rear end. So, after I met with an adjuster from the insurance company I took my car to the closest Lexus dealership, and when I got there the lady asked me if the car was drivable. I said that it was, and she told me that the next available appointment would be on December 09. They didn't even want to see my car. I told her that my car was brand new, and I didnt want to wait one month to fix it. She said there was nothing she could do. So, I took my car to North Miami Lexus. They were very helpful. Took my car right way and gave me a really nice rental car on their premises. It took me 30 minutes there to leave my car and get a rental. JM should treat better their costumers. The lady at the front desk didint even want to talk to me. read more

"BUYER BEWARE" - DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A VEHICLE FROM "JM LEXUS" A few months ago my wife and I turned in our originally leased Lexus for a new leased vehicle, since our current Lexus was at the end of its original lease. A few weeks after that, our nightmare began. When we turned in the car, there was still two months left on the lease and we asked the salesman what should we do.... should we pay it or would JM Lexus pay the last two payments? The salesman told us just to pay the last two payments, as we would normally...which we did as programmed. BIG MISTAKE ON HIS PART! We were totally unaware that JM Lexus had made a huge mistake and made the original car lease look like an early termination or Repo with Lexus Financial Services, another Toyota/Lexus company. This triggered a series of automatic procedures within Lexus Financial Services, which ended up 5 weeks later in my wife and I receiving a letter from Lexus stating that we owed them a lot of money for the Repo and that they had turned us over to the credit bureaus. They did all of this within 5 weeks of us returning the car to the dealership. Truly amazing! Lexus Financial Services proceeded to destroy our credit, by sending the most negative update you can send to the bureaus, what is known as a "Charge-Off". This basically dropped our credit score instantly by over 150 points. Prior to this, we had a "perfect" premium credit score. Lexus Financial Services gave us no chance to fix the problem prior to applying the negative flag on our credit report. They claimed they sent by mail a letter weeks prior and called...neither of which we received. We informed Lexus Financial Services of this and their attitude was skeptical. Most companies do not send negative reports to the credit bureaus until 90 days have gone by.... Lexus Financial Services did it in just over 30 days. No human intervention....just automated processes. They did not even bother to look at our customer file to see that we were long time customers with perfect credit scores. They let a software program decide our fate. We are a two Lexus car family as well.... This goes to show that they have no extra procedures in place for a person to review a "preferred" customer's" file before they send the negative credit posting. It is all automated! When I contacted the dealership, JM Lexus, to get their help in fixing this, I got the run around...promised call backs with answers...I got nothing. After many emails, phone calls, text messages and a visit in person, I finally find out that the salesman who leased us the car had been transferred to another department. So, since he was no longer responsible he decided it was someone else's problem and left us hanging with this grave issue that he had caused. He had not left the company, changed his phone number or his email address....he just chose to ignore us. Eventually, I got someone who was willing to help us escalate and navigate within Lexus Financial to fix the major problem that JM Lexus had generated. It took two months of frantic phone calls and emails to finally get Lexus Financial Services to reverse what they had done with little to no help from the dealership and taking no responsibility for their actions. I had to work alone with Lexus Financial Services and their corporate office in California to get it fixed. To be fair, eventually Lexus Financial Services offered to pay two of my monthly lease payments as a "we're sorry" gesture, which I accepted, but to this day the JM Lexus dealership has ignored this situation and only offered a verbal apology. When my credit got restored with some letters from Lexus Financial Services and an update to the credit bureaus was done, clearing the negative flags on my credit....I found out that this entire fiasco had cost me "thousands of dollars", due to the fact I was unable to do anything with my credit for many months. In that same time period of time, we were buying a house, which got delayed many weeks, as a result of all of this credit fiasco; we were forced to accept a less favorable mortgage rate, due to our lower credit score. I contacted JM Lexus to find out how they were going to fix the problem they had caused me and compensate me for the lost money. They refused to do anything at all and just said... sorry it happened and too bad about the out of pocket expenses you had, but they did not feel they had to reimburse us for the problem they caused. Can you believe they had the gall offer us a free service next time we brought our car in? As a result of all of this, we have a VERY bad taste in our mouths related to Lexus and specifically the JM Lexus dealership in South Florida. In good conscious, my wife and I cannot ever do business again with Lexus and we cannot recommend anyone that they buy a vehicle from Lexus and especially not from JM Lexus of South Florida. We brought our car to JM Lexus when the check engine light came on. They "fixed it" three separate times and the check engine light came back on every time. We finally brought the car to an independent dealer who fixed the problem quickly and correctly. We called JM Lexus back to tell them they ended up charging us parts and labor for items that were not the problem. They offered no resolution. read more

I've been with JM Lexus since the 1990's whether it was to purchase a new car, a certified used, leasing, you name it. I've been in the sc coupes when the kids were younger and transitioned to the ES when it was time to start hauling equipment and friends. As my boys got older, I switched back to an IS so I could have more fun in the drive with enough space for my family. Would you believe I have been in my Red Lexus IS 300 -2003 for 14 years!!!! It's due to the hard work and excellent diagnostic abilities of John Nahar and Carlos Nunez that I had a jump ahead from them before the car went into service. The use of a loaner car has been essential to smoothly go from service to work and back. There is not one person I could say anything bad about. This is really like a family from the sales, service, finance etc. Then there is the kind "sandwich and cookie" lady inside the main showroom. JM Lexus used to be a good and decent dealership where you could get your car serviced for a fair price and be treated with respect. I used to recommend to everybody I knew to buy and get their cars serviced there. That's not the case anymore since I was treated like I did not matter by the service advisor and later when I got a phone call from the service manager who treated me like I was a criminal trying to get away with something I did not deserve. My car had always been serviced by JM Lexus since I purchased the car in 2011. I bought a house last year with a garage. My cousin who used to work at JM Lexus as a master technician went to change the oil on my car and removed the plug he found out that the thread came off of the oil pan. He explained to me how they had damaged the thread on the oil pan where the plug goes and had drilled the hole and use helicoil to try to fix the problem. The service advisor did not even ask me to bring the car to JM Lexus so they could evaluate the problem and when the service manager called me he started accusing me of damaging the car myself. He rather treat the customer like a criminal than to investigate what really took place when the car was being service there. Needless to say, I am not ever going back to JM Lexus and got my car fixed at another place for a very reasonable price. I have removed the license plate holder that reads JM Lexus and now I advice people to stay away from that place. read more

I have been using JM Lexus for more than 15 years. I drive all the way there from Boynton Beach just for their service and assitance. On my last visit there I made an appointment the day before for an oil change at 4 PM. When I arrived there was no one to sign me in. Some empty cars were parked in the check-in lanes. I had to get out of the car, go inside and ask if there was anyone to help. Three service people materialized immediately but they had no idea which of the other people waiting arrived first. Then I was treated much better. It still took two hours. I am not accustomed to inattention from JM Lexus. I am sure it will be rectified. My car is now making a strange sound when I accelerate between 30 and 50 mph. It did not do this before. Just as a side comment. While waiting I tried to use the two computers. They both faced into the sun so I had to squint and shade my eyes. The responce was quite lenghty. read more

I explained my attendant conditions, and asked him a IDEA how much would be a lease ... I thought a bit pricey but NEVER made an application .... JM Lexus had checked my credit without my permission, never called me to offer a real price or explain the reason checked my credit score ... Yesterday was the day 09.12.13 JM Lexus because my car had recall, I took the time I was expecting my car to be ready and walked the showroom of JM Lexus, one selling came, I explained to him my situation (I asked because they checked my credit without my permission), he knew not tell me anything about it but tried to sell me a new car ... OK, just skirting the situation is still interesting for me to lease, explained everything I wanted in a car and he tried to make a deal for me ..... One deal was done, however I was inside the store from 12:00 am to 7:00 pm and most of them actually HAD NOT DONE MY APPLICATION, passed from the 7:00 pm and still no concrete answer when I withdraw from the purchase a manager came to me and said we could go with the new car was still nothing more defined when he got in the car had not optional in which I asked .... I returned the keys, got in my "old" car and left outraged by the lack of respect for the customer .... needed to stay over 7hs dealer within the repeating my information to about 5 different people to not have the car in which I was looking for and also to not finalize my process of leasing. My experience with JM LEXUS was the worst possible experience that a being can have, I am Brazilian, I stress, I realized that one of the guys who works in the area of ​​paper work laugh at me, did not want to focus on that lack of respect for the customer and just wanted to go home .... I had an EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING experience at JM Lexus. I have a Lexus RX 350 and I called a salesman named David Osiecki and I explained that I was interested in getting out of my lease and into a new car. I was EXPLICITLY CLEAR that I did not want to increase my payments and that I was hesitant to drive up all the way to Margate from Aventura without some time of assurance. I spent time with him on the phone sharing my payoff and other details to find out that he was confident that he could help me. He then gave me a call back saying that he spoke to a manager who said that I should come up because they'll help me out with what I want. I drove all the way up and spent a couple of hours looking at cars and when it was time to talk about the price, the finance manager told me that my payments would increase by over $100. I think the way I was treated was terrible. This salesman thought I'd drool over the car that I went to drive which I did and he probably thought he could con me into a higher payment. JM did not help me out and I will not be going back I will stick with Lexus of North Miami it's only 30 minutes away and the deal was done in a "non sheisty" way. I hope this review helps prevent others from being tricked and I hope JM Lexus takes care of what happened because I shouldn't have had to go through that ordeal. read more

I went to trade in my 2014 GS350 F sport because of being over on the miles. It was a lease. I told the sales person that was my intent. Read everything when you go to the dealership because they are slick! I am highly educated and failed to read everything that was placed before me because of their explaining as I was signing and what did they do? I ended up doing the deal as a lease turn in instead of a lease trade in. The difference is on a turn in of the vehicle you will be responsible for any wear and tear and can have a separate bill instead of factoring everything into the deal. I did what I thought was a trade in back in February and received a bill in May asking me to pay 800 plus dollars for wear and tear on car I thought I traded in. Not to mention the car sat on the lot until May 1. I received bills to pay car payment for the car and was reported to the credit bureau for late payments!!! I have never paid a car payment late Management at Lexus and the sales person did not want to resolve the issue but said I owe the 800 plus dollars. Bottom line they agreed to have me pay a portion which I refused. Contacted the GM and instead of receiving a call back from him he had one of his management do so! I have leased 7 Lexus cars since 2005 and this is my first and last time with this dealership I only went there because I moved to Palm Beach. They really took advantage of me and I don't appreciate or recommend that dealership. Still waiting to hear from the GM and getting this resolved. Such a nightmare! read more

This dealership states that there is a $698.50 Dealership Fee. When I compared prices, I used this information and added it to the vehicle cost when I was comparing prices. I negotiated this price with the sales person with the understanding this was the "out the door" price. After I paid for the vehicle and took delivery. I was surprised by a backend, undisclosed title fee from the dealership i was required to pay before I could pick up my tag. Be aware of this undisclosed additional fee AFTER you take delivery of your vehicle. The Dealership never discloses this fee but you must pay for it to get your plates. read more

The salesman Paolo Scalici told me that my car was worth 16,000 dollars and he was looking at the blue book value I believed him my car was in excellent condition when I went home I looked at blue book value it was 18,500 to 21,000 dollars. When they gave my the new car the inside was terrible windows were dirty carpet was wet. I wanted my old car back but they would not let me have it. Its really is a nice car of course it's Japanese just like me. But it's things like this that gives car dealers such a bad name.
