What I liked most about this company was that Sylvia gave me a quote along with different ideas and packages to choose from. Instead of me having to tell a company exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend, I really liked having different options and packages to choose from. It made the whole process so much easier. We hired Sylvia for our daughter's 18th birthday party for about 25 people, and everything was perfect. They came early in the morning on the day of the event and set everything up, then came back about an hour before the party started with the food. Everything was right on time and looked amazing. The food was delicious as well, and we had plenty of leftovers. Not one complaint about the food, and these were 18-year-old girls, so that says a lot! We also had a photo booth and the telephone where the girls could leave private messages for the birthday girl. That was such a fun and special touch and ended up being one of my favorite things. Aesthetically, everything looked beautiful, and I'll add some pictures so you can see for yourself. Everyone we worked with from Sylvia's company was professional, friendly, and very efficient. At one point, the wind knocked over some of the photo booth decorations, and they came over right away and fixed everything without us even having to worry about it. One other thing I loved about working with Sylvia is that she is a Navy veteran. Had excellent party…read morerental for my wedding and communication was a bit challenging.(delayed response requiring a few reminder texts/email, not paying attention to date or updated quote). I believe it's because this is a small family business and ramiro is still new in the game and he's pretty much the main guy so everything goes through him. Despite the almost heart attack on my wedding day where they thought it was a different date, they'd still hustled and delivered the rented items. Then afterwards they were honest, realized their mistakes, and did compensate me for the misunderstanding. Overall, I wish it went a bit smoother than I encountered but they really tried to make it better. I'd recommend the following if you're planning a wedding by yourself , even with a month of coordinator. Be patient. You'll have to send a few texts / email reminder to them. It's already difficult as a bride and it doesn't make it easier but I think with time they'll get better at responding. COMMUNICATE VIA PHONE CALL A WEEK BEFORE YOUR EVENT AND SPEAK TO RAMIRO. Either you or make it clear to your coordinator to go over all the details with them a week before your event just to make sure everything is going to show up on time and the right items ordered. I'd say this is more than my ideal situation but Ramiro was really nice and I'd still recommend them
