I went to Patten to get an expedited title search done so we could put a bid in for a foreclosed…read moreproperty. We met one of the most condescending people ever it was a older lady gray hair with glasses. I didn't catch her name. She was severely rude. She act as if we were Pan handlers soliciting on her property. When in fact, we a real estate investors. I also own several of the businesses in the area and around the country. I don't want to say it was racially motivated because me and my wife are African-American and she is Caucasian, but it absolutely felt cold and callous as if this was 1950 in the Jim Crow South. I strongly recommend corrective action be taken place as of today today's date. Monday, December 19, 2025 at approximately 3 PM this incident occurred. It was obvious that the lady did not want to do the title search and did not want to provide further service as we completely felt uncomfortable about receiving any service after the rudeness and dismissive condescending behavior. I hope the owners of Patten Title coach their staff on being able to communicate and engage in this diverse world of real estate.

This guy Lino Rosales did not stress the importance of a great credit score, as I have no broken leases, and no late payments in my 5 years of renting apartments; I also currently live in The Parkway @ West Lake which is a much nicer place to stay; as their just a bit pricey. So heads up when applying at the Residences @ Kingwood they are a bit out-of-touch as to renting out apartments and checking someones credit score and not their renter history clearly reflects that. It's why they have so many apartments available. Trust me within a year or so they will bring the criteria down to fill up the complex!!!

Her Keller WIlliams Office is in Baytown but her specialized areas also include Crosby, Huffman, Atascocita, Kingwood and other areas. We were a bit challenging as we had a pretty limited budget but also needed a minimum of 1/2 acre. I also have an unusual job where I make good money but only work part-time. She was great helping us find a flexible lender and showed us lots of properties and offered expert advice on locations, resale tax values and other considerations. She even recommended a great home inpector! When it came to making an offer she really dug in for us. She helped us negotiate and get the deal we needed. We are very happy with our home purchase! If you are needing an agent who puts you first and brings great skills to the table, I highly recommend Lane Sherman!
