In response to Lexi Johnson:
Mrs. Johnson,
Im sorry you felt that you had a bad experience with my company. I would like to go over these issues. We were called April 18th to come move a switch and check one receptacle in the kitchen that wasn't working. We weren't asked to provide a quote.
The switch that we demoed had multiple wires in the box, we had to cut the wires in the attic and make a junction box because the wires were stapled in the wall. When we went to install new switch, we found that your building contractor had done some wiring himself and ran 12-2 wire, when it should have been 12-3, so we replaced with correct wire. He also opened a junction box and didn't bring the wire through the knockout, just wired it through the top of the box. We then disconnected and installed it properly, so we could install the box cover.
We came back on April 21st to inspect receptacle not working. We took out the receptacle and there was 2 wires in the box, this means power coming in and power going out. All breakers were on in the panel and so we started opening other receptacles boxes and switch boxes close to the one not working to see if there was a bad connection that we could find. We ohmed out several wires hoping to find where the problem was. All other boxes had good connections, so we put back. We went into the attic to see if
we could find the wires that went to non working receptacle, but they weren't going through the attic. The wall with the bad receptacle was right of the bedroom wall and when asked if we can go check boxes in there, we were told not to worry about it.
When we went to install the fan, we noticed that the ceiling wasn't painted and told Mr. Johnson to please call us when paint was done and we would come back and install. We received no call saying that paint was complete.
April 27, you called very upset that we hadn't come back to finish. My office manager was on vacation and thought that we had completed the job and was unaware of paint that had to be done. We on April 28th and installed the fan and switches. Again, I want to make clear that we did not receive a call back to let us know that paint was done. Also, we only had opened receptacles in the kitchen and NEVER went into your kid's room opened any electrical box. If it was done, it wasn't done by us. We do our best to provide great customer service, we and should have followed up ourselves once we didn't hear back from you for several days. If you would like to discuss this more, please contact me at the office. read more
