But I think he deserves a shout-out for the BEAUTIFUL job he did. He had to remove many baseboards and thresholds, but when he replaced them, he really went the extra yard, not only carefully caulking the baseboards when he put them back, but touching up the paint, filling the nail holes and painting over them, so everything looked perfect. And he even cleaned the thresholds so they looked even better than before. I'd give them more stars if I could.

After getting estimates from other companies, Concept Materials had a competitive estimate and I felt they would do the best quality work. This job involved replacing a cheap vinyl wood floor with durable SPC. The scope was a living room, 4 steps, and a hallway. Each day two guys arrived on time. Because the subfloor was not flat, they had to pour concrete to level the floor. Overall, they did an excellent job and cleaned everything well. Like many projects there were some unexpected issues, and Gene handled each issue quickly with a good solution.

Steer far away from this place. Floor Online installed a small area of flooring with white oak…read morehardwood. Terry said that the hardwood should be acclimatized for several days up to a week before installing. According to my contractor it was dumped one day and installed the next day without proper acclimatization, as Terry had promised. The installer also did a bad job selecting pieces that were of very different colorations. The ultimate result of the lack of acclimatization was that the floor boards starting cupping. Terry told me to use dehumidifiers in the area to make them come down. As this didn't work, I told Terry that he did not proper acclimatize the wood. He got very upset, and denied that this happened. He denied this, despite acknowledging that the guy he used for the job was a "one-time-thing" and do not work with him anymore. He said he would come by and take a look at it. He said that every time I called, but he never called back or came by. This is a greedy and dishonest company. If I could give Floor Online zero stars I would.
