He did warn me before hand that three lumpy areas in my hallway carpeting would not disappear with the cleaning, though. However, he explained that they also offer a carpet re-stretching service that would fix the problem. That re-stretching occurred today, by Buddy plus his "carpet guy," and the hallway carpeting is now entirely smooth over its entire length. Was a somewhat involved job because of interfaces with bedroom carpeting in two places, plus sliding pantry door panels on one side. But it was worth every penny; Beale's carpet guy had the specialized tools and all important experience to make the carpet re-stretching come out great.

The moment I explained that I smelled dog urine in the carpet, he immediately dismissed me, repeatedly telling me he'd "been doing this for 30 years" instead of actually listening to what I was saying. The most disturbing part of the visit was that he eventually stopped speaking to me entirely and directed his attention only to the man who was with me. He even walked away from me in the middle of our conversation. I left feeling belittled, ignored and treated as though my opinion didn't matter. Based on the way he interacted with me, I found his behavior toward me as a woman deeply disrespectful. He also wore his outside shoes throughout my home, insisted the issue was candle residue despite there being no candle wax, and then left before completing the job. The carpet issue was never resolved. If your first instinct when a customer raises a concern is to dismiss them, talk over them, ignore them and walk away without finishing the work, you have no business providing customer service. This was an appalling experience and I would strongly encourage others to look elsewhere.
