On the 16/05/2015 me and my girlfriend - Lauren were on a usual night out, we decided to go to JJ Whispers. Everything appeared to be fine until I visited the toilets. Whilst in the toilets around 00:30 I came out to find a bouncer with Lauren waiting for me to come out, so that he could kick us out (he was extremely unprofessional using a derogatory term referring to Lauren as "Bird" and "Chick"). The reason for kicking us out was because my girlfriend reacted to a man sexually assaulting her. Not only does the club not seem to take sexual assault seriously, by what we witnessed last night JJ Whispers seem to encourage and cater to those committing it. They essentially removed us from the building to allow this man to continue his predatory behaviour. He took us outside and would not give us an explanation to why he kicked us out, after speaking to the bouncer for a little while he became aggressive after I swore (If the bouncer gets so easily offended by swear words - not even directed at him. I suggest he retires), after this he thrust his fingers into my face, I asked for his ID number that all registered bouncers wear as a compulsory part of their uniform, however he refused to show me this ID and kept turning so that I could not see it. Then due to not feeling safe around the bouncer I decided I would start recording the incident, this is when a new bouncer came out and became aggressive and threatened me, as I was moving back from the bouncer he attempted to grab hold of my phone hitting my hand. After this I phoned the police to report the incident. All in all, we felt unsafe from both the people in the club and the bouncers there to protect us. Went here for a hen night, was great until we got into the dancing area, we had booked a table and the said if we didn't buy the £100 worth of drinks upfront we would loose our table! Rude. Before we could speak to the lady to plan our order a man ( who I assume was the manager) said it was too late and to leave the table, never going there again rip off read more

i wanted to book a VIP booth at the JJWhispers in reigate for my husbands birthday. i made a reservation online as requested on the 21st of january 2014 for the 15th febuary 2014 and then i waited for a memeber of staff to contact me. i had a man called Mo phone me and he said that i have a choice between the VIP Booth or a booth in the main room of the club, he also informed me that another booking has been made for the same date for the VIP booth so i would have to decide by thursday which booth i would wanted as he wasnt in the office on the wednesday( the next day). i rang back on the thursday evening at 5pm saying that i want to put the deposit down for the VIP Booth, his response to me was that he would phone the other booking and let them know that i am going to put don a deposit. i was confused by this and questioned this, he said it is a first come first serve basis, and i said well what if he puts down a deposit and Mo's reply was i would have to offer you another alternative ( but i didnt want an alternative hence me still choosing the VIP booth after being suggested the booth in the main room) i didnt hear from him for the rest of the night or through out friday daytime till i phoned back friday eveing at 5:30pm on the 24th january, i spoke to Mo again and i said i wanted to know if you had spoken to the other booking and his reply was yes danielle i will phone you back bye. my husband then phoned 30mins later to get an answer and asked to speak to the manager, which we then found out was Mo. my husband explained the situation and Mo said that he was speaking to me and he had to give the other booking a couple of days to finalize their booking, and that there was 3 weeks until the date so there is plenty of time. my husband said that we want to finalise our booking, so we are first come first serve booking, but Mo wasnt having any of this and said i think you should book your event somewhere else, because i dont think you will have a good time here. i feel that this so called manager Mo does not understnad the booking police and it must have been a friend that was the other booking. read more
