With the everchanging landscape of COVID, Elicia was truly patient and understanding as we went from our original date of April 2020... and three date changes later to August 2021. On our phone calls, she got to know our style and envision for the day and provide insightful feedback on what would make these photos shine as well as highlight things we haven't considered. You can see and hear the passion Elicia has as a photographer. She also was great with looking up locations and sun rise/set times to ensure that we had the best conditions. Elicia was crucial in helping set up the timeline for the wedding day so we could get pictures as well as not feel so rushed going from one event to another. With the exception of my choice of groom, choosing Elicia as my photographer was the best decision of the day. First and foremost, Elicia's work is gorgeous and absolutely speaks for itself. Each shot is like a work of art. I have never been one to frame photos but I can't imagine not displaying her work on my walls. One of the many things I love about Elicia as a photographer is she doesn't try to stage you using those "standard wedding poses." She will direct you to a spot with amazing light, give you some posing "tips," step back and then just let you and your partner be yourselves. The results are photos that are insanely beautiful but also reflect the couple you are. In addition to being extremely talented, Elicia is the sweetest person! She even helped us find a beautiful spot near the hooch to take the photos at. After I made my deposit, she sent thoughtful guidance on how to prepare, from shopping tips to mindset support, which helped calm my nerves and made me feel supported long before the session itself. On the day of the shoot, her makeup artist did an incredible job with hair, makeup, and lashes, making me feel confident and radiant without feeling overdone. While I was getting styled, Amber went through my outfits with me and helped select the ones that would photograph best, which was invaluable. Once the shoot began, she coached me through every pose with patience and encouragement, checked in often, and ensured I always felt respected and in control. I instantly fell in love and knew I had to book him. and now seeing the pictures I'm glad that I did. even though my day of coordinator was rushing him he made sure to capture the key photos that I wanted. I love the fact that he got photos of every guest that was at my wedding, Which at first I never thought of but I'm glad he did it anyway. The only part that I wish he did more was get more photos of me in my dress solo but other than that he's the best photographer.
