A very patient teacher who is concise and honest with feedback, and was very understanding and reassuring when I failed my first driving test. To quote my son, James, 'Jim is a great guy.' Jim came highly recommended by the chap who taught my husband to drive and was specially chosen by me as I wanted someone patient, kind and understanding to teach James, who also had a good track record. Jim certainly ticked all of these boxes. My son started to learning to drive in the midst of all the Covid kerfuffle in 2020, so it was quite stop/start as we kept going into lockdowns. Thus it might have taken longer than under normal circumstances. However, the outcome was a first time pass last Friday (6/5/22) and a very happy 19-year-old! I have appreciated the fact that Jim has been happy to converse with me about James' progress from time to time and wasn't afraid to say that he wasn't ready for the test we had originally booked back in January. He is honest and his rates are competitive, too. We will certainly be using Jim's Driving School again, should our second son wish to get behind the wheel in a year's time.
