Yes, the sofa was initially attractive and just the color I wanted. But the store personnel failed to tell me that the leather I was buying was of the lowest quality. How do I know this? The leather has begun to peel and fall off between the cushions. There are five grades of leather: 1) full grain leather, 2) top grain leather, 3) split grain leather, 4) genuine leather, and 5) bonded leather. While I thought I was getting the quality leather at a reduced price, what the business was doing was selling bonded leather and calling it leather. I would have been willing to spend more money to get better quality leather. I know quality costs more. After it was delivered, the sofa looked fine for the first year while the house set empty until I could retire. As soon as I began using the sofa for any length of time, the leather began to peel. Had I known what Badcock was selling, I would have left this sofa sitting in the store. So now, in 2020, I am obliged to find another sofa that will hold up to use and pay to have the piece of junk I now have hauled away. My advice: question the salespeople thoroughly on the quality of any leather. Educate yourself on leather. Better yet, buy your fine furniture elsewhere.

They said it was in the small print on the order, but no one ever tells or points this out to you. So, at 72 yrs old, and trying to rebuild our home and our lives they scammed us out of over $300.00. They asked how they could help us. We explained our recliner in our Motorhome was worn out and needed to be replaced. I specified the color and that I wanted leather. My husband requested a recliner, non electric, one that would swivel and we preferred non rocking. We were shown dozens of recliners. Most all of them were either fabric or leather. But, we were assured any recliner could be custom built to our specifications. So, we were just, " Trying on" recliners to find the one that fit our needs and comfort level. Close to an hour later, we found the one. The one associate, Mr Martinez, took the time to explain how La-Z-Boy builds their furniture, from beginning to end. All made in America, which is very important to us. It's going to take 6 to 8 weeks for our recliner to be built. The time frame is a bit long for me, but we were promised we'd be very happy. Delivery was offered and we were very pleased to learn La-Z-Boy will deliver and set up the recliner in our Motorhome. This is a blessing to us as we are up there in age. We were very pleased with the service we received, the pleasant conversation and patience given to us.
