If only they didn't serve their takeaway fish and chips in polystyrene, this venue would receive a higher star rating. The fish and chips did actually taste quite nice, except for the fact that they didn't include the slice of lemon promised in the menu. It could be the perfect cafe if only they'd do what McDonald's did decades ago and get rid of the polystyrene. Strange that big, evil corporation McDonald's of all companies are doing the right thing with regards to this environmental issue.

I shared their vegetarian "brekky" platter with my boyfriend, which coincidentally came with two of everything (toast slices, poached eggs, avocado, tomato, halloumi, mushrooms), which ended up being a great dish for splitting/sharing. Everything tasted fresh and we were surprisingly pretty full even though we shared. Although tasty, nothing really stood out to us. Service here was a tad slow but friendly. Overall not a bad spot to stop by if you're looking for coffee near the beach.
