The menu says the pita and gyro meat is heated but the gyro I received was cold :( Paid extra for the cucumber salad that wasn't very good (too many pickles?) and I'm still hungry because I didn't want to pick apart the cold lettuce/tomatoes from the meat and reheat everything. $20 wasted (sandwich and $5 tip). read more

If you weren't aware, last year's (2022) tornado tore apart the original location and it's being rebuilt. Look for the current shoppe across the road attached to the Marathon station. The sandwiches were up to par. Costs in line and the folks were outstanding. We had extra time so we stayed and learned a little bit about the city of Gaylord. Down side: It's a bit cramped inside, so you do the drive-thru. They are not freakishly fast...at all. We don't mind, but you might. 09/23 read more

Never received a sandwich after placing a order online. Called and was placed on hold for over 5 minutes. Called again and was told to hold again. When I replied "actually I never got my complete order" I was in return told that "there are a bunch of people ahead of you and ppl are lined up out the door so they do not know when it will be delivered." Stopped in today for lunch and had a great experience and didn't hit my wallet too hard either. Got a sandwich, chips and a drink for less than 8 dollars. I really don't know why there are so many bad reviews but I've never had a problem ordering from here. When they deliver they are always freaky fast. Yeah Yeah I know its the slogan but seriously it feels like as soon as I click submit order they are at my door. Not gourmet! First I would like to mention that it was a Sunday around lunch time with 3 employees, and there was NO line. Should have been the first clue. I ordered 3 sandwiches one was an unwich. After I had delivered the unwich to my mom who is allergic to gluten, we realized after I got home that they marked the sandwiches wrong and she ended up with my girlfriend's sandwich that had bread and hot peppers on it. So she couldn't eat that. Then, my girlfriend didn't like mayo so she wouldn't eat the lettuce wrap that was filled with it. The bread on mine was hard, barely any lettuce- that wasn't even fresh, and maybe two slices of meat at best on a $7 sandwich. Complete rip off. Let me start by saying I LOVE Jimmy Johns, but unfortunately this one does not measure up to any other that I have ever been to. I know they are trying to make a profit, but they skimp on the meat at this one (ever single sandwich out of the 6 times I have gone there). They seem friendly but my sandwich is only correct about 50% of the time. I also usually get an eye roll if I order anything but the white bread. Just another sandwich place. They're marketing ploy is speed, and while they are fast, their sandwiches are not that good. For one thing, they're very overpriced for what you get. U can easily get a sub from subway at least twice if not three times the size (including toppings), for what you pay for here. Gourmet? No, just expensive. read more

Called for delivery and waited over 30 minutes for my lunch to arrive. When I called back the manager stated it was "a new driver and they were busy". When the radius for delivery is less than 3 miles it shouldn't take 30 MINUTES for "freaky fast" delivery. What a joke. read more

Since Jimmy John's advertises itself as a "gourmet" sandwich shop, I decided to give it a try. It's a typical sub-shop setup. The menu is on the wall. There are two registers where orders can be placed (both open only when its busy). There was moderate traffic in the restaurant. I ordered the BLT, a bag of chips and a cookie for takeout. My order was processed very quickly, but no bag to contain the three items was provided. Glad I did not order a drink as my hands were already full. Upon unwrapping the sandwich at my office, I noticed the French bread deli roll was very cold. Two strips of bacon had been placed on about a one-inch thick layer of shredded lettuce (some of it brown, which I removed). A few slices of small pinkish tomatoes were on the bottom. I've never had BLT with such cold bread, so I put the sandwich into the microwave for 30 seconds to take the chill off. Had I eaten on premises, I would have sent the sandwich back to have it warmed. While the sandwich was acceptable (although the bacon minimal), there was absolutely nothing "gourmet" about it. Just average fast-food fare. read more

I love you Jimmy John! I have been to the one in TC once but Gaylord is my go to. I have NEVER had a bad sandwich or unwich from there. The staff is friendly & on top of their game. The food here was good and very typical of Jimmy John's food. What brings this review down to 2 stars is the service side of the house. I was thoroughly unimpressed by the guy that served my sister when we stopped in for a quick bite to eat. When we got outside trying give him the benefit of the doubt I asked my sister if the service from him seemed lukewarm. She acted really surprised and said no it wasn't lukewarm, it was definitely borderline on rude. She went on to say that between him refusing to give any answers to questions about the food with anything other than yes or no answers and not giving any details and the unhappy look on his face that she seriously considered telling them to cancel the order and walking out. Who knows maybe he was having a bad day, but the fact of the matter is when you're in a service related industry you need to learn to set aside your personal issues when working. If you can't do that then you need to find a different kind of work where you don't have to interact with customers. The odds are since I was just passing through the area we'll never have the opportunity to stop in again, but if I do ever find myself in the area again I will definitely not be returning here. read more

Normally I don't complain about mess ups, because most places correct them. I have ordered on 6 different occssions now and the last order is why I have the 2 star rating instead of a 1. I'll start with the last order giving them props because it was perfect. What I ordered 100 percent and delivered really fast. However, the other 5 times my order has been wrong in one fashion or another to include being charged for a double and only receiving a single. I was told I would get a credit and never for it. I let it slide, being as it was my first order, but then they messed up my order again, and again I was promised a credit. Yet again I ordered and was not given the credit. Rinse and repeat I stupidly kept ordering and beleiving I would eventually get the credits I was owed by talking to a manager. However, rinse and repeat, even with tonight's order, no credit was given. I will not order from here again. read more

Wow. This place is right on the edge of being a dumpster. The help swore at me, gave me moldy cheese, and I saw two people making love in the back. I saw this with my own eyes. They were unattractive, displeasing, upsetting, and smelly. The only sunshine I got in this valley of hell was from a young man named James. He was fast, apologetic, and very smart.
