One of the most unorganized doctors office I've ever been to. Office manager was very unprofessional and I waited over an hour for my appointment because they were so shortstaffed. Yesterday I called the office to report that I was in pretty bad shape, experiencing severe lower abdominal pain, and requested to be seen as soon as possible given the circumstances. Since my last visit, my insurance information had changed, although I still had Blue Cross Blue Shield -- just with a new member number. I explained this to the staff member. She said she had patients and did not have time to take the updated information, and that I would need to call back. I told her my wallet was already in my pocket and I could provide the details quickly, but she seemed frustrated that I stayed on the phone. She ultimately told me she would attempt to verify the insurance and call me back to let me know whether I could be seen. I waited for quite some time and never received a call. At no point was I advised to go to urgent care or the hospital despite explaining how severe my pain was. Eventually the pain became unbearable, so I went to urgent care. As soon as I walked in, they told me I should go directly to the hospital based on my condition. I did so and was diagnosed with appendicitis, which required immediate surgery. The hospital staff were outstanding -- caring, attentive, and efficient. They tested, diagnosed, and removed my appendix within 24 hours. Upon discharge, the doctor prescribed three days of pain medication and explained that I should pre-emptively reach out to my primary who could prescribe longer than that so I didn't have delays. Afterward, I contacted my primary care office to address the fact that their lack of follow-up delayed my decision to seek emergency care. I explained that if I had not gone to urgent care on my own, my appendix could have ruptured. The staff member I spoke with said they were unable to verify my insurance and that I needed to contact the insurer myself. I responded that if they already knew verification was unsuccessful, they should have called me back as promised -- especially given the severity of my symptoms. The hospital had no difficulty verifying my insurance. I disagreed with her calmly and did not raise my voice, although I was understandably frustrated. She did not appreciate my concerns and hung up on me. I called back, remained calm, and spoke with the doctor directly. He stated that I had yelled at his staff, which I denied. I explained that while my frustration may have been audible, I did not yell or behave disrespectfully. He said he overheard part of the conversation. The discussion shifted toward liability, with emphasis placed on my insurance change rather than acknowledging the missed follow-up. Ultimately, instead of addressing the communication breakdown, the doctor stated that due to how I felt about the situation, I would be better off seeking care elsewhere, suggesting the doctor-patient relationship had been damaged. From my perspective, I was advocating for appropriate care during a serious medical issue and expressing concern over a clear lapse in communication. I believe the office failed to follow through on a promised callback during a potentially dangerous medical situation. Rather than acknowledging that lapse, the focus was placed on defending staff actions. I was not seeking conflict -- only accountability and continuity of care during a difficult time. This experience left me feeling dismissed and unsupported when timely communication mattered most. Mr Edmond, you out your personal relationship with your staff and your ego before your patient. You should be ashamed of the failure. There is no liability here. I have no intention of taking legal action. I was simply trying to notify you of a failure that could have potentially put my well being at risk. read more

If I could give this office zero stars, I absolutely would. Do not go here. I have never in my life been treated with such disregard and unprofessionalism by a medical provider and their staff. I was repeatedly disrespected and dismissed by front desk personnel, particularly one staff member who struggled with English communication. When I asked for her name, I was refused that basic information -- otherwise, I would have included it here. The office called me with my test results and said they were negative. I had a follow-up question because the report also mentioned that "a trace was found," and I wanted clarification on what that meant. When I asked, the staff member simply said the doctor had referred me to a urologist. I acknowledged that but asked again if someone could explain what the "trace" result indicated. She continued repeating that I had been referred and refused to provide any further explanation. I asked to speak with the doctor, and she told me my next appointment was in November -- it was only June. When I pointed out how inappropriate this level of treatment was, the conversation became tense, and she eventually hung up on me. I called back several times seeking answers and was finally connected to someone named Olivia (if that's even her real name). I asked again for the name of the previous staff member and was refused a direct answer, even after multiple requests. I explained my concern, and Olivia said she would leave a message for the doctor to call me. Dr. Jimmy Edmund eventually called me. He began the conversation by acknowledging I had a question about my results, but as I started to explain my concern about my health, he cut me off mid-sentence. Rather than listening, he insisted on addressing what he claimed was an "issue" with how I had treated his staff. He then recounted a completely inaccurate version of events and accused me of being rude. I was shocked. I was not hostile -- I was a concerned patient, frustrated by the lack of care shown by his staff to relay my message requesting a call from the provider. I simply wanted to speak with him and get clarity on my results. When I calmly began explaining the truth about how I had been treated, he completely disregarded what I said. He claimed he had heard the entire conversation with his staff. I asked how that was possible, considering I had been told he was with a patient and unavailable to speak earlier. He didn't answer -- he simply said, "OK, I'm not going there," and brushed it off. I tried once more to ask about my test results and clarify my concern, and while I remained calm, he told me he was ending the conversation because it was "hostile." If a patient cannot speak directly with their physician about their own test results and express legitimate health concerns without being interrupted, gaslighted, or dismissed, that is a serious problem. This experience was not only disappointing -- it was deeply unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

He's the most compassionate, thorough, caring doctor I've had the privilege of having as my primary care doctor. There's nobody like him. read more

I had the absolute worst experience ever last I knew when you went into a Doctor you talked if you have multiple issues you should talk about multiple issues well Doctor Jimmy Edmond told me because I talked to him about a nail phone yes I was being disrespectful of his time and became belligerent with me refused to look at my knee when I cannot walk downstairs I recorded the incident and because he was so worried about how he acted he called the cops on me Never once did I raise my voice never once was I belligerent but he could not say the same he refused care to my knee and my neck Which are 2 of the primary reasons I am on disability If I could give him a negative 10 I would read more

If I woke up to the news that he had been arrested for impersonating a doctor, I would not be surprised. I've had two teams of cardiologists tell me I desperately need a defibrillator implanted, and he refused to sign off on the request. He stated that he was trained at Johns Hopkins and these 5 cardiologists were scrubs, and that I could tell them he said that. read more

This is the worst dr I have experienced in my life. For a uti on a interstitial cystitis a serious painful chronic illnesses patient it feels like someone is stabbing your bladder. I started calling at 4:00am and it is 9:11 am I called multiple times they said they would do a zoom at 8:45 and nothing. This chronic pain causes people to overdose or commit suicide ! Dr Jimmy and his staff are very nice. I love the fact that his mother is involved with the practice and it creates a family environment. Having grown up in Maryland, it was nice to find a Florida doctor from Hopkins. He is very knowledgeable and was able to give me some great advice for the care of my mother and father-in-law. I want to give him zero stars. I've had cancer and kidney problems for 11 years and have seen many many doctors. Jimmy Edmunds is the worst I've ever seen. He was constantly rude, critical, and spent all his time typing into the computer so he could bill. He made things up like typing in that we discussed things we never discussed. He wanted me to take tests I didn't need and threatened me saying I was a bad patient and they would take my health insurance away if I didn't have all the tests done he recommended. My oncologist took care of everything I needed. I was holding water because my kidneys weren't functioning properly and he poked my face and said I was disgusting. He mentioned he went to Johns Hopkins every visit. It didn't automatically make him a good dr. He's abusive. I feel a responsibility to warn people to stay away. He's interested in running up a bill not in the welfare of the patient. Probably gets a kickback or Access makes money on unnecessary tests. read more

I'm new to the area, he was assigned to me by the hospital. Dr. Edmond prescribed me some medicine that I told him wouldn't work for my blood pressure. ( I took it from my previous doctor) He insisted, and wouldn't listen. Needless to say, I ended up needing a heart catheter. What a scary and horrible experience I had to go through. read more
