deficient boundaries; aggressive, divisive manner…read more We had serious reservations about therapist-client relationship boundaries experienced here. We also found the therapist's aggressive and fairly divisive manner troubling. We left, and sought further help elsewhere.

Parental estrangement - advocated at this practice…read more ** Parents of teen & university-aged daughters -- Beware. ** Within just a few visits (some feelings of anxiety, second year of pandemic), therapist Liz Huber encouraged and then heavily supported - our older teen daughter - to estrange from our family. For weeks Ms. Huber ignored requests for family therapy consult and communication (despite daughter granting permission to discuss). Instead, within just weeks of the end of the university school year, she actively supported our daughter in getting a job, moving in with brand-new acquaintances, and completely estranging from parents. Nothing could have been more shocking or unexpected! Our daughter had a completely normal medical, mental, and family history. She was always quite close with us (parents -- no history of divorce or other issues), and her siblings (still at home)! She was active in church and volunteer activities, well-liked and respected in the community, a multiple-scholarship winner, talented athlete, and highly successful academically. More than a year later, our heartbroken family still has no explanation of what has happened, or why. Our family had never heard of parental estrangement. We never could have imagined that encouraging our daughter to "get a little help" - from this practice - would leave us with no daughter. ** Parents Beware! **
