Please disregard other poor reviews saying John doesn't do his job. If a client doesn't select to have their HVAC inspected, he is not an HVAC technician. ROBYN H should have selected getting her HVAC inspected. Just like if there is a roof issue, you need a roofer. An inspector is only licensed to do so much. Geeze. We have been so happy with John's attention to detail that we used him for our own personal house.

Turns out the seller (who is horrible for many reasons) had some jacked up electrician or friend wire the furnace. Called the warranty company American Home Shield (stay away from them, they NEVER authorize ANY claim, so do not waste your money.) Anyways they denied the claim as the furnace was wired so crappy. This does not fall under normal wear and tear. I am wondering why the hell this was not looked at during the inspection. He did check that the air turned on (it was summer time) and stated the air filter was the wrong size and the thermostat was not working. The unit is SO JACKED UP. Anyone can see it. So now it will cost us $9,000 for a new unit. Cool. NOT! Why was the home inspection done but not everything?
