I have brought all four of my children to JFK pediatrics. The nurses are always so pleasant and the nurse practitioners do a good job assessing patients and being transparent. As far as the office staff, they definitely have opportunities to improve. Several times I have had only cash on me to pay for my co pay and they have told me they don't have change so I am forced to leave a credit for the next time. When the next time rolls around, they tell me they don't have any notes regarding my credit. There needs to be a better system in place for cash payers or at least carry proper cash to give people back change. Not everyone can pay with a card all the time. read more

I came into this office with a mask on, even though I am vaccinated. My daughter didn't have one, I asked if they had a paper mask available for her considering it's a DOCTORS office and considering my local restaurants and stores offer free paper mask at the door. They said no. Mind you, this is after the law passed stating we don't need to wear them anymore ! What kind of doctors office doesn't have a paper mask for their clients ?! That's b.s. If you're going to require mask at this point then you should have them available for children. We waited months for this appointment because of her chronic allergies, for them to keep her away because of a mask policy that is gone in most places is absurd and rude. This isn't the first issue I've had with this office. I'd find somewhere else to take your child. read more

I'm still going to take my daughter here. I have been putting up with them for years, as we all do every other awful establishment we give our best, our hope for better, our money to. However, they need to realize their policies our not bettering themselves or their patients. They are creating more animosity towards their practice than needed. Short wait times but the Boynton location violates hippa laws. I've had this problem with them numerous times.

I am so glad that I left pediatric associates for this office. The staff is always so incredibly nice and helpful. The Dr that we initially were seeing has since left the practice, but was great while we were with her. Now we see Dr. Chamberlain who is amazing as well. Everyone in the office is fantastic though. We never wait long to be seen, setting appointments is so simple, getting information and advice is always easy.. I could go on and on! The nurses are so wonderful with my kids (1 y/o and 5 y/o), which I'm incredibly happy about. I've done plenty of research and this was by far the best choice. read more

NICE ON PHONE, good Dr. BUT.......... a maze . told it was covered by insurance. Instead received horrendous bill. When I called i was told that insurance can only be settled by email. I emailed and have not gotten a response. I'm most disappointed that they told me twice one on the phone once in person it was covered by my insurance. The service was adequate. The policies and office are sub standard and you should save yourself the trouble. I'll update the review if they do the right thing. I took my business to Pediatric Associates and have never been happier with there long available hours, multiple locations , and a office manager who took my insurance card by phone. i hate to leave a bad review, but the service and treatment was lack luster. read more

I had gotten several recommendations for this office and was hopeful but I am disgusted with the lack of care at this facility. I run a successful healthcare practice and I am astounded by the incompetence here. On multiple occasions, I had appointments for my children, which I confirmed by text and phone, only to show up with no one to provide care for them or have them cancel the appointment hours before. Their communication is horrendous and they lost every form I filled out 4-5 times. When I called with my concerns I was told that the doctor does not speak to patients about concerns that their children are not receiving the care they need and the office manager at the practice never even bothered to call me back. I was then told they could not even guarantee anyone would call me to address my concerns and asked if I was ready to make an appointment. read more

My grandson has chronic asthma. He is eight and has been in and out of hospital all his life. We need to have albuterol inhaler always ready for an emergency. In the past we were given many refills so we could take care of him. We went for check up and they gave us no refills. Now he is in trouble and we can't get any albuterol unless we spend our 70$ co pay to come in to see him. We do not have 70$ to visit them for a refill. They are being rude and nasty and won't help him get meds. If we go to ER WE have to pay $200. All they had to do is give him is a refill. If he dies we will sue their butts off. read more

I have 3 children (18, 15 and 8) who havve been seeing these doctors for almost 18 years. From before they opened their own practice. We have always loved coming here, the doctors and nurses are the best! However the office manager is horrible!! Every encounter i have ever had with her was bad. Through the years i have over looked it even though it resulted in me paying money I should not have, as well as getting upset. I have witnessed her treat the staff like crap and talk down to them. For those of you wondering why the office staff is so miserable all the time, this is why. POOR MANAGEMENT! Recently, I dropped off a sports packet to be filled out. The office had it for almost 3 weeks. I made several calls about it as well as was in the office for visits and asked for it. I was told the office manager, Kayla, had the packet and would call me. On the last possible day to pick it up I made several calls starting from 10am trying to get it back and was told it was being worked on, but nobody seemed to know where it was. I requested for Kayla to please call me, but instead she avoided all my calls and had the receptionist call to inform me she emailed me the doctor's portion on the packet. At this point I became irate! I learned that the original packet I filled out and dropped off was lost with all my son's personal and medical information on it! With all the privacy laws in place, one would think they would be a little more careful! Also, by this time the school was closed and I had no way to get a new packet. To Kayla I guess it wasn't a big deal and her attitude only made me angrier! I asked to speak to the doctor and coincidently they were not in, so i called the office and left a message for the doctor to please call me back which never happened. Shocks me that not one person could have even given me a courtesy call. I was under the impression all these years that they cared about their pantients and if a situation like this occured they would call to find out what happened. I was so wrong! Instead i recieved a letter in the mail, that by the way was originally sent to the wrong address, stating i needed to find a new doctor because of verbally abusing the office staff. I will admit I could have handled the sitation a little better, but I was driven to this point. Very disappointing to have to find a new doctor after 18 years, but I will not tolerate the carelessness anymore! read more
