Holiday Celebrations for Families with Young Children -- these events are just right for children ages 1-5 and a great place to connect with other families.
Lox & Talks: Soul Food for Parents -- nourish yourself and your family by reflecting on the big questions in life with other parents of infants through preschoolers.
High Holiday services -- come as you are, connect with what's meaningful to you, bring family and friends.
Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah - if you didn't have one or yours was not meaningful, here's the chance to make this tradition your own.

History
Established in 2006.
Jewish Gateways offers an open, supportive community for people of all backgrounds to explore the richness of Jewish tradition and its relevance in our lives.
We believe that Judaism can be far more than feeling part of a "tribe," going to Hebrew school, and celebrating Jewish holidays. It offers a wealth of wisdom, spiritual teachings and practices, and more, that we can draw on to explore how to live with greater authenticity, meaning, and purpose. We are:
ª Inclusive, welcoming people of all backgrounds -- Jewish, Jew-ish, part of a Jewish family, considering Judaism, or just wanting to explore.
ª Person-centered, meeting people where they are, helping you to explore Jewishness at your own pace in an open environment.
ª Accessible, without "prerequisites," such as being Jewish, knowing Hebrew, or being familiar with Jewish practices.
* Diverse, including single parents, those in interfaith relationships, LGBTQ folks, Jews of color, multiracial families, and those of all ages.
Meet the Manager: Rabbi Bridget W.
Hi, I'm Rabbi Bridget Wynne, and I grew up culturally Jewish in an interfaith family, I am passionate about enabling people to engage in Jewish life in ways that speak to them.
I moved to the Bay Area in my teens, graduated from UC Berkeley, and then worked in San Francisco as a community organizer on social justice issues before entering the rabbinate.
I attended rabbinic school in Jerusalem, Los Angeles, and Cincinnati, and was ordained by the Reform or Progressive Movement. I then served as rabbi at Leo Baeck Temple in Los Angeles, and later at Congregation Shir Shalom in Sonoma.
I live in the East Bay with my spouse and son.
