I have been in the store on at least 3-4 different days. Ok, it sometimes takes a little while to get someone's attention, true, but over all it is pretty good service, at least for me it was. I had to wait a little while and try to get someone's attention this past holiday season - but they were literally packed, and it was on the days you could use your jewelry warehouse cash (had some from another purchase earlier in the month) so I expected to have to wait - and it didn't take long, I found what I came in for, I left happy, my daughter loved her opal ring. A couple weeks prior my husband and I were here, and we were in the market for a solitaire. I had one, it was a little small and it was my grandmothers, I have worn it for years and years, it's even chipped a little. So for early Xmas we came here :) I originally wanted a square princess cut diamond, but after trying a couple on I just wasn't feeling it. I spotted a pear. Something I did not think I would like, I tried it on - I still have it on! Honestly without looking at the sales papers I cannot remember the mans name who sold it to us BUT he was great really! He was very smart, he was helpful, he was nice, I have zero complaints. He tried really hard to find me what I wanted and there it was :). The diamond is gorgeous! And all the papers came just like he said they would right on time! Everything was perfect! I love the ring - absolutely love it! The only thing with jewelry warehouse that would make them king of jewelry in this area is on site sizing, on site resetting, etc. I just hate to send out jewelry especially something of this $$$. Please consider getting someone in house! I still want my ring reset and resized but hate to send it off and part with it even for a couple weeks lol! And by the way - after we left I did go to Jared's, with my new ring, just to see what they had that was in the same range and ya know what? It was all about $500 more (for slightly smaller diamond) that did not even look as beautiful. Either the inclusions were huge eye sore or the color was not as good. We compared for a good 15 minutes and took a look with the jewelry magnifier and really there was no comparison. I said Thanks anyway and left. I was in the Sunset Blvd location on 12-31-18. I previously had purchased two silver necklaces. I was being waited on by a very nice associate when Teresa, the Mgr-Asst. Mgr. rudely interrupted our conversation with the most unprofessional attitude I have ever experienced. The clasp was broken on one of the necklaces and Teresa was demanding that I did not buy the necklace there. It was a $20.99 necklace, not a $2000.99 necklace. She upset me so bad with her rudeness, I left the store crying. I hope Teresa never has the opportunity to be so rude and unprofessional to another customer. My experience with Teresa's unprofessional work ethics has nothing to do with the rating of this store. Not all people are made to work with the public. read more

I hate rating Jewelry Wharehouse a 1. Being a West Columbia native we have always shopped with you. But I never will again! I bought a new wedding ring set back in November of 2016. Last week the whole diamond setting detached from the ring. I went to your Lexington store and the first thing I was asked was did I have the extended warranty. Well No I didn't purchase a warranty because I have insurance to cover theft and lost I never thought I need to cover the quality of your work! I told the clerk that my previous ring was 29 years old and still in good shape her response was they don't make things lile they use to!! I was in need of a new setting for my engagement ring as I had lost a diamond and damaged the prong of the original. The selection was very good, but i'm not sure that it was overly unique or something you couldn't find where others sold the same brand (as opposed to creating something yourself). The customer service was very good on my first visit, they were polite and gracious. In the end I handed over my family diamond and trusted that they would get it to me on or before May 1 (March 23 drop off). I asked about appraisal for my insurance rider and was told that I would be able to have the ring and band appraised once the original diamond came out of the setting and they were able to weigh it. I went into the store 2 other times, once to finish paying on the set and the other to pick it up. The time I went in to pay on the set it took a VERY long time. The customer service desk was not aware of how to deal with the custom order. When I originally walked in, no one greeted me, the two other employees just kind of stood and looked at me but didn't do anything, not even say hello. When I went to pick it up it was the same. People just stood there and looked at me, I had to say "excuse me" to get someone's attention. I expect people in customer service to say hello to me, esp when i'm dropping a significant amount of $ in their store (regardless if it's a set or solitaire loose diamond or cheap earrings!!!!). The set I picked up yesterday is BEAUTIFUL, however, they will not be appraising it and i'm quite upset. They do not have a certified gemologist on site and they didn't even have a referral service or offer a "coupon" or something. For something as significant as a solitaire diamond that is estimated at 6k, it is a significant misstep for this company. I The manager Carlos was receptive to my comments and he said he will pass this information onto the supervisors and Karen has amazing customer service skills. Get it together Jewelry Warehouse!!!! Most people need an appraisal for their rings and jewelry for Riders. If you can't at least offer a coupon, referral, or price off the set for the travel and expense of the appraisal then don't. read more

I came to Jewelry Warehouse to get my fiance's wedding band because they didn't have his size at the Harbison location. When I got to the Lexington location, they didn't have it there either, but they agreed to special order it. They called me about 3 weeks later and told me it was ready for pick up. When I came to pick it up, the girl at the service desk didn't even try to use another method to find the ring except for my last name. We put it under my fiance's last name--which I had forgotten that we did that--but she could've tried to look up the address or even our phone number. But alas, she didn't. But what took the cake for me and made me re-think my shopping at Jewelry Warehouse was the closing I received. I didn't even get a bag! They gave me the ring in the Ziploc-type bag it came in and told me to have a good day. I asked "Well can I have a bag please?" and they gave me the previous customer's returned bag. I should know because I stood there while the person made the return. As a previous retail worker with 10 years experience, I was very upset with the service I received. I like their SC Store, but with this happening, I may be shopping somewhere else from here on. read more

We went to Jewelry Warehouse to look for a 14K Gold wedding band. We were quoted a 4-6 week lead time and upwards of $600. We went to a different jewelry store and were quoted the exact same band for $320 and we received it in 3 days. I certainly hope we were not being taken advantage of due to the fact that we had time constraints on getting the band in. Buyer Beware! Get a few opinions before buying at the "discount jewelry warehouse." They have certainly lost a customer in us. read more

I went into the jewelry warehouse last week with jewelry that I bought a year a go for my mom for Christmas. All the pieces had turned BLACK. From rose gold to BLACK. Instead of doing anything remotely customer service oriented she proceeded to ask me if I was informed that the gold was silver plated. I said no but what did that have to do with the now black jewelry and she went into chemistry 101 with me. Basically this company sells some pretty suspect jewelry then proceeds to not stand behind their product. I wouldn't go back to this "family " owned store if they were the LAST jewelry store on the planet. Buyer beware at the store you will not be satisfied to any capacity! read more

A horrible place, the manager is so cold and mean just unprofessional! My husband took my wedding band in for a few stones to be replaced and he picked up the wrong bag and dropped off a ring that I got at the flea market $2.50 it was tarnished and green and black bent and the replaced stones and charged us $150 I called he to explain I was crying and she was your not getting your money back! Take it up with your husband! Not I'm so sorry please bring your band in and lets see what we can do. I can't give you a refund but maybe we can discount it a little to get your band fixed, I mean anything to be nice or to calm me down but no flat out your not getting your mney back! I went in to their Sunset Blv. location twice and both times I was treated like I didn't even exist. I've been looking for months for the perfect engagement ring for my girlfriend and the lady that helped me the first time sneered when I said I wanted to trade in my girlfriends parents first engagement ring. Seriously? I know this is Lexington, but to be that snotty is ridiculous. The second time I brought my girlfriend in to look and another lady helped us. When she realized we weren't going to purchase anything that day she just walked away and didn't come back, even when my girlfriend wanted to look at some settings. This was my first time ever shopping in this store and i needed some gamecock accessories for my moms car for a birthday gift. I called ahead of time to make sure that they had what i needed and they assured me that they did. upon arrival we did not get greeted everyone was was just standing around. Once looking around the store we got to check out and they only had one of the two items that i asked for and nobody could tell me why. After checking there system they did not have what i needed and nobody wanted to confess who told me that they did. After speaking to the manager who did nothing at all we had to call cor and then call the district manager. One of the employees did her best she was by far the friendless person there she called another store and they brought it over so after being in the store for about an hour and did i mention that i drove and hour and a half to get there they finally came with it discounted my total and i was on my way. That was the worse experience ever i will never shop in that store again. read more

I took my watch to the Lexington store for a simple battery replacement. When they returned the watch, I was informed that they had tried to set the time but that the calendar day was misaligned and they couldn't get it to align correctly (it was not misaligned when I took it in). I took the watch and told them that I would see if it worked itself out overnight when the date changed. The following day it had not corrected itself so I decided to adjust the time manually. When I did, the entire crown post came out of the watch with virtually no pressure. I am absolutely convinced that they damaged the watch when they replaced the battery. Upon returning to the store I was very polite and relayed what had happened to the store manager. I was surprised when there was no offer of apology for the inconvenience. They did offer to have their in-house person look at the watch but that may take as much as 3 weeks. If they couldn't fix it then they would send it off to Seiko which would take 4-6 more weeks. When I asked "how much is this going to cost me" there was no offer to cover any part of the repair. They were very vague. I have purchased numerous items from Jewelry Warehouse over the years but this is the second time I have been disappointed by the Lexington store service.
