My husband and I arrived in Lucerne halfway through our honeymoon and desperate for some clean clothes. My family of 5 arrived in Lucerne desperately needing clean laundry. I found Jetwasch on yelp and was encouraged by the reviews -- we weren't disappointed by our experience. Jetwasch laundered and folded a heaping basket of dirty clothes for CHF 27 and with same day service. (We dropped off the laundry at 11 am and it was ready for pick up at 5 pm.) Our hotel wanted CHF 4 per pair of underwear. Needless to say, Jetwasch was quite the deal! We dropped off and picked up laundry on foot, although it looks like they have hotel pick up and drop off. The clothes were all clean and smelled great when we picked them up. Ran out of clean clothes in Lucerne and was thinking about having our hotel wash a few things, hut their prices were too high, so I found Jetwash on-line. We took a quick 20 minute bus ride to the near by stop and brought our stinky travel clothes in for laundering. The process is simple. She weighs your clothes and charges by the weight. I ended up paying more since I wanted two separate loads, whites and darks. My jeans are new and tend to bleed, plus I had lots of lighter colored clothes that I didn't want to have washed in a dark load. So two separate loads, plus a small delivery fee to have all of the items folded and bagged and brought to our hotel front desk. We dropped our stuff off at 9:00am, and we were told the items would be delivered by 7:00pm. I was super excited to have our washing needs handled while we explored the city and did tourist stuff. It was way cheaper than paying per item in our hotels laundry services and faster too. My hotel was charging $6.00 to wash one pair of pants.and they weren't going to be back for 1.5 days. Our entire basket was $35.00 (CHF) we paid in cash at drop off and that included the 8.00 delivery to the hotel. I BELIEVE THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH.
