Was craving some good thick crusted pizza with perfectly crisped cheese and I came to the right place! I had seen pictures of the pizza from here before and it looked tasty so I had to try! I ordered through yelp and got the three cheese turbo stix and a large cheese pizza. It was ready on time and nice and hot! We were all impressed by the crust and the cheese pull haha. We moved from Detroit to Cali a number of years ago and the closest Jets is indeed in Arizona. So naturally when we planned a roadtrip throughout the southwest, we had to make staying near this Jets a priority. Jets pizza is unlike any other you'll try. With their own take on Detroit Style Pizza, to us it's the original. Their square, their Jet bread, their boats and my God that ranch...it's all just out of this world. This Jets hit everything perfectly. They were kind, they didn't care that we documented our entire experience or how nerdy we were at pickup. They made those pizzas and jet breads to perfection. The location is easy to find and the turnaround time was great. We ate the leftovers for days and it made our roadtrip so special. We will do this again!!! Missing jets hard. I placed an order through door dash at 10:08 as this business was listed as being open and willing to take orders. They close at 11:00pm and I got a notification at 10:50 that they cancelled my order because they were closed. Not only were they still within business hours but they also received my order during business hours and acted as if it would be fulfilled when they kept the door dash driver waiting for the pizza. This is one of those "hidden gems". With that being said, this Pizza joint has a terrible location. I feel like if it were near other eatery not next to a men's grooming, then it would have more traffic. We were waiting for my sons turn at the barbershop when he got hungry. For $5 you get 2 slices of pie and a drink. No photos, but the slices are huge enough for sharing u less you're a hungry adult or have a huge appetite. A week later he craved for something similar.... but when my husband ordered a similar pie from a chain pizza joint, it just wasn't the same. We're definitely a fan of Jet Pizza! read more

I would go with a solid 3.5 stars on this place. I ate at a Jet's in the mid-90's but have no recollection of it and at the time didn't really understand what Detroit style pizza was. I have a few colleagues that are from Michigan and really like this place so I was convinced to go. I do like that they serve individual slices and for the price ($2.43) its an easy and inexpensive lunch option. Although, not the best crust I have had I did enjoy the crunch on it. I thought there was way too much cheese but that is my personal preference. I will certainly be back for more visits. read more

Let me start by saying the staff was super friendly and nice. However, the pizza was awful and so very greasy! We got the Detroit Style deep dish pizza with bold pepperoni. I had high hopes for this because that crust looked so good but all I could taste through the whole pizza was a massive amount of oil. I mean you could just see it everywhere and it was terrible. We order from Jet's quite a bit and never had a problem. Tonight was a huge exception. We ordered the Hawaiian bbq pizza and this is what was delivered. We called to tell them the pizza was burnt and inedible. We spoke with Cat who said she was the manager. She kept asking if we took a bite of the pizza. Sounded like she didn't believe what her customer was telling her. Very rude and horrible customer service. I can't believe they would let something like this be delivered. Excellent deep dish crust, but cut into squares. I've never had Detroit pizza before. But it seems like a Chicago style deep dish squared. Either way, the crust is awesome and the 8 piece cut gives extra crust and crisp. Prices aren't cheap but not crazy gourmet priced. The cheese breads are just meh. The cookie was ok, nothing great. We moved to Queen Creek from Michigan. We tried a few local pizza shops and each was worse than the one before. We were ecstatic to learn that Jets actually has two 'local' shops. We found ourselves in Chandler today and a phone call with Matt, the owner, was sheer delight! We were welcomed like long lost relatives. We ordered an antipasto salad, a large deep dish, half Hawaiian and half meat lovers. Of course we topped it off with the cinnamon sticks. Let me say it was the best pizza we ever had! The salad was amazing and the cinnamon sticks were a yummy finish to an incredible meal! The pizza was pretty good, not great. I was more disappointed by the service. Granted, these are weird times with the coronavirus, but they were just not very friendly and seemed a little scattered. We bought pizza and wings, which, everywhere else, come with ranch and usually celery sticks. They did not offer us any ranch and it was not included so assumed they forgot. The pizza was ok, but not great; however, my daughter wanted to try their pizza again so we got more pizza and wings... Again, no ranch, so I asked for some. It turns out they charge for ranch. And They didn't forget it, they just don't offer it... You have to ask for it. Well that kind of stinks for a first time visitor who wants ranch, but doesn't know to ask for something that every other place includes with your order. Hard to find good Detroit style pizza outside of the Detroit area, but this was damn good. Yes it is a chain and yes it is based in Detroit, but don't hold that against it! We had a group of 6 adults so bought 2 8-corner pizzas, a party size salad, and had to drive the pizza to Sun City West and reheat them. Sounds bad, right? Over cooked pizza. Well Jets has a solution. Order the pizza "lightly baked", then when you reheat it will be perfectly done! The antipasto salad was plentiful and fresh. They also have you entire bottle of their dressing - enough for 3 Party size salads. First time trying this place the other day and would have to say this is the best place to get a deep dish pizza. The pizza was pretty good especially the crust! The sauce on the other hand was just decent could be better, but everything else about the pizza was good even the smell was great. Payed about 22 bucks or more for 8 deep dish slices which is a pretty good size for 22 dollars I will return in the future, but not as much it's not amazing pizza it's just good pizza... Jets is a big deal back home In Michigan so the expectations were high going in. I was immediately waited on. Rochester MI is where he from so I'll call him Rochester. Rochester was very nice as I explained my expectations. He guaranteed me I would be disappointed it just like home. We dined in. It's a very small area. When a cashier says "Go fuck yourself!" to a customer in front of the customer's 3-year old daughter -- and in front of a line of other customers -- something is wrong. The cashier got my order wrong, and while I was annoyed and said as much (without cursing) that was what happened. I asked for the manager, who should have fired him on the spot. All he did was suggest that he would give me my pizza for free. I don't want free pizza: I want a conscientious cashier who doesn't curse at me and my daughter! I wrote to the owner, and he offered me $50. I declined, because money is not the issue: an employee who curses at customers and children is wholly unacceptable! No one reached out to assure me that employees would receive better training (which IS the issue). I previously enjoyed their pizza, but I won't spend money at a place where management doesn't get the point of customer service or the absolute impropriety of employees cursing at customers in front of their children. There is equally good and better pizza (and better customer service) elsewhere. read more

Came on a weekday when it opened for lunch and got a couple corner pieces. $5 for 2 deep pizza slices and a soda is a good deal. There was also a calzone on special. The pizza didn't live up to the hype for me and I was really disappointed with the restaurant itself. They are a carry-out type place and don't have a public restroom. If I lived in the area I would come back for take out but wouldn't go out of my way again. The crust was crispy like Pizza Hut pan pizza and the inside was almost doughy. Placed an online order at 730pm for a 945pm delivery. Got a call at 848pm saying "We don't know how your order went through because we don't have any delivery drivers." Not sure why it took almost an hour and a half to notify that they didn't have delivery drivers. I was offered a discount if I was able to pick it up. I told them I would need to pick it up at 945pm. He asked if I could pick it up in 20 minutes. I said no, there was a reason I had selected 945pm, though said I could get there by 930pm. I arrive to the store and was told all of my money was refunded and told a new price. I questioned why the delivery fee amount and the discount wouldn't have been refunded rather than the entire amount. He basically shrugs and says he doesn't know. He also couldn't confirm that the amount had in fact be refunded but told me "You call tomorrow and talk to the Manager if it's not. There's nothing I can do." I wonder who processed the refund if he wasn't the manager and the manager wasn't on-site. Will definitely have to follow up with my bank in the morning. I love the pizza here but the lack of customer service and inconvenience is enough to make me not want to order again. read more

Iceberg lettuce with tomatoes. Please add a couple other veggies, I think it would improve the salad. Grated carrots, cabbage, cucumber, another type of lettuce, arugula,.... First order at Jet's. Not what I expected. I was offered a 20% discount on an 8 corner pizza. Could have called in or ordered on line. Decided to save 20% on a pretty expensive pizza. We ordered 8 piece square, thin butter crust, 1/2 hamburger extra and 1/2 pepperoni normal, light sauce, mushrooms and black olives. After an hour on a busy Friday nite. We got the delivery. Nice young man. Took the pizza in the house. We received an 8 piece corner pizza. But it was thick crust almost deep dish, heavy sauce and no 1/2 and 1/2. Did get mushrooms and black olives though. Wow!! So I called to let the store there was a mistake. As soon as I told the young lady there was a mistake she said I will get the manager. Identified himself as manager. Reluctantly told me is name was Richard. Definitely not his first rodeo with complaints. Told him what we ordered and what we got. He said it's not my fault we use a third party text message service. I told him I don't care what 3rd party service they use. I ordered from Jet's. He did not like my response. Told me he was going to do something but he was upset that I disagreed about who was responsible and told me he didn't like my attitude or response. He said it was the third parties fault.
