Our tour guides were Chad and Joey who made for a great ride out into the ocean. Good information was shared along the way and when dolphins were located on the tour Chad was excellent at pointing them out along the way. A bald eagle nest was also seen complete with a bald eagle perched overlooking the ocean. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and the tour was just the right amount of time to be out on the water to enjoy the boat ride. We don't drink so purchased the tickets without the alcohol included but then were welcome to bring on our own drinks and snacks for the ride. The playlist of music out on the sunset tour was top notch and apparently dolphins have a good affection for Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" as when that song came on the dolphins came out in force. Prior to departure the tour guide assured me and my 18-year-old daughter that we would be back before dark as it was illegal to ride wave runners after dark. We selected the Sunset Tour option with this understanding as it was the first time I had ever rode a wave runner and neither myself or my daughter have ever rode one in the gulf which is quite different from a lake experience where we live. The tour guide was very nice and explained how to operate the wave runner to me and did a great job accommodating my daughter and myself during the tour. However, on the way back we were in complete darkness and could not even see the signs to tell us the information needed for no wake zones etc... The tour guide had to pull out his phone to see what the signs would say and I felt we were in a very dangerous situation. We did not get back to the dock until 9:20 pm - this was over an hour later than scheduled. It was a very scary experience and I had asked the tour guide how many sunset tours he had done and he said that this was his first one. I believe he was around 19-20 years old which was not an issue except for I would question what type of training he has had on time management as this experience could have resulted in an incident due to the risks of driving these wave runners in complete darkness.

I recommend a tip for these guys as they are in the hot sun doing a great job. FYI for corporate. If possible, please remove the boats on the web site that you have decommissioned. If one is out for service, please post a notice on the reservation page indicating "out of service" and maybe an expected time back in service. Just leaving them blank so no one can book tells us nothing. It helps us club members when trying to book a date and time. Boats are always clean and ready to go. Keep up the good work guys.

Love this place. Great shop…read more Great services for water activities. However, we booked a 4hr inland fishing charter and it was highly disappointing. Captain Tom was our skipper and he was unprepared and more concerned with his plans after our charter than he was about giving us a great fishing experience. Nice guy and quite the talker but it ended there. Not a single pole was set up for us and he only had 1 type of bait when that time of the year calls for multiple types of bait. He spent the first 40 minutes driving us to a spot that was already taken and then setting up each pole. We caught minimal fish and in the end we took home enough fish for a child's fried fish basket. $600 plus tip was quite frankly a rip off. Very disappointing indeed... 4.5 stars for CB Outfitters and 1.5 stars for Captain Tom. I do not recommend Captain Tom for your fishing experience...
