His proposal was competitively priced and the quality of workmanship was superior. The project was completed on-budget and ahead of schedule. His use and selection of subcontractors was consistent with projects of this scope and size. Paul consistently appraised us of his progress (email & photos) and actively involved us in the decision making process. Paul's work passed each and every inspection the first time. One inspector even went so far as to compliment the cleanliness of the job site which also pleased my neighbors. While I recommend homeowners screen multiple builders for new construction/additions, I would strongly suggest that you include Ocean View Builders in your next project.

They have no respect for their clients and only care about $$. The only reason people put up with their crap is they want to be in Sea Isle. If you find yourself in a home built by JF Builders be prepared to have problems - ours included gas leaks, water leaks, incorrectly installed roof shinges, cracks in our driveway and our sidewalks, stress cracks on third floor walls, missing headers in a doorway, cracked balcony rails, poor quality cabinetry in the kitchen with multiply defects the list goes on and on. After owning the home only 2 years we ended up gutting the kitchen and upstairs bathroom, repairing the exterior deck railing and replacing the roof just to be free of Freda!

I have a list of issues however the most recent was the settlement crack in my driveway. The house is 5 years old and instead of offering a solution Carmen Freda took the time to call me to tell me what he WASNT GOING TO DO, no surprise. He said he was here to look at the driveway but in fact he was not on the property. I have cameras to prove no one was here. He takes pleasure calling a women to rant about basically nothing. He is rude and arrogant. Enough said. Don't buy a home from JF builders.
